chiamo:Still in Nigeria for now but leaving by the end of this Year to Australia IJN 1.Search for TAFEs especially around Melbourne and Sydney. Check there websites and download guides too and you apply but make sure the duration is 2yrs and above but note they will ask for IELTS to meet the English requirements 2.About the social work i don't know much but it should also be in demand because it's more like aged care which is in demand. I said Hospitality because it's easy to convince the VO about the course "that hospitality is increasing in Nigeria and you more Knowledge about it so as to come back and move it forward" that's a hint tho .After the Tafe am sure she going to get sponsor which will ease PR through skilled migration Thanks for the prayer i appreciate 1 Like |

Mrbigman1: In as much as age is not a primary factor for your visa grant, it is important that your chosen course is related to your work experience. A letter from your sponsor stating solid reasons why he/she wants you to pursue your course to enhance a career could help in your visa processing too. Is your sponsor related to you in anyway? Have they been your guidance or paided your fees in the past? Do you have evidence of those payments. If your answer is YES, then your sponsor can include that in their LETTER OF SPONSORSHIP? 1 Like |

mannimakerjnr: Do more research on WA sponsorship. For WA to sponsor you, you need at least 5 points from relevant work experience. That means you must be able to prove at least 1 year Australian experience or 3 years overseas experience in your field. There is also the issue of employment contract and proof of funds. Nsw sponsors engineers (without work experience) but like someone said before, it takes ages to get invited. Except if you get 20 points from English. With 65 points and above, I believe you would be invited faster. |

mctowel01: This is same person I have been responding to his queries all the time. I wrote him and it bounced and I informed him here before the corrected his email address. I am not sure why his email is not coming through thou I have received an email notification which does not have any information on it. Not sure what he's doing wrong. I studied masters in IT and can assure him the issue is not from my end. |

Ilias2: If your school offered you admission without IELTS then you should be fine with immigration. Ielts is just an avenue the Australian govt. make money from foreigners. With the bank statement you can include one if you have a lot of funds in it otherwise ignore it. In the Financial Capacity Requirements; these is for your perusal. You need to have enough money that is genuinely available to you, to pay for your course fees, and travel and living costs for you and your accompanying family members while you are in Australia. You might need to provide evidence of your financial capacity with your visa application. Check the Document Checklist Tool below to find out what evidence you need to provide. If you do not provide this evidence with your application or when asked by an officer, your visa application could be refused. If you do not need to provide evidence with your application, we have discretion to ask you for this during the application process. Just make sure you have a bank statement available in case your case-officer ask for one. I have only been to Perth once and that was in 2013. Things are little expensive at that time compared to other parts of Australia reason was because of the mining boom. Anyways, you know exactly what you are looking for. Just type your query on google regarding work and accommodation and loads of information will appear or tell me what exactly you want to know and I can help you search. Cheers. 1 Like |

Sir @ west Africa i wish to apply for MSC in geology, I graduated with 2nd class lower but my problem is this. The school I graduated from has been on strike for the past 4 months and there is no hope of them resuming back this year, is it possible to apply without my transcripts since I don't have access to collect it from my school due to the ongoing strike... I have my original results intact... Thanks in anticipation |

@ WestAfrica, thank you sir for the prompt and fully loaded response. The agent responded by saying this are the documents that i will need: - Data Pages of International Passports (Photocopies notarized) - - CoE (Photocopy notarized) - Medical Referral Letters (Photocopies notarized) - - Degree certificate / Statement of Result (Photocopy notarized) - Transcript (Photocopy notarized) - CV - Personal Statement - National Population Birth certificates - NYSC certificate (Photocopy notarized) - other certification / qualification (would be notarized) - Medical receipts (notarized) - - Visa fees (Approximately 180,000NGN). This would be paid online - Bio metrics fees - 7,400NGN. To be paid at the Bio-metrics center. Yellow Fever card/Polio card The agent said UWA is one of the universities with AL1 status under SSVF. That SOA is not needed. @ the job aspect. Am going for social works ..so i guess i can easily get age care job. ....however hope the age care doesnt mean i will be cleaning sh*t of old folks or it better than i imagined. Thanks sir. 1 Like |

The tuition deposit is 2000 aud.however u will pay it before u get ur ecoe and also u will need to pay for OHSC so. Just add the 2000 plus say the OHSC is 1350....so u will be required to pay 3350 as ur initial deposits with which u will get ur COE. So u just have to minus the 3350 from the total package when paying before lectures commences. Bro please how is the tuition deposit for that UWA school, I heard it aus&2000..hoow true is that??..i applied to the same school bcus of tuition deposit I was told??... Thank you for ur reply..[/quote] |

Abbey1987: I believe you can apply as a freshman. Hence you need to let your uni know your situation and find out if you can get some credit to the courses you have already studied in Nigeria after you present your transcript. |

@Guadete, Aged care nursing is not the same as cert IV or Diploma in aged care. Aged care nursing is a specialist field in Nursing. The diploma course falls under community service occupation. |
