Many thanks.

But how old should one's bank statement be until application despite it has passed the 28days grace?

The fresher the statement when you apply the better.
With an old statement the VO can think the money may not still be there.
They do have ways of checking!

Yours truly,

In addition to what Bourne007 pointed out you don't need the section in bold.

You were too brief on the reason for the incomplete course, only if you have it on email or attach it somewhere but you need to explain in details why you withdrew.

hi, have you tried contacting your uni if there is any rooms leftover in the hostels or try checking with imperial agents, keylet etc. Although most private houses are filled up now.

I dont think i will advice him to stay in school accomodation cos its so expensive. Rather he should try to contact the school group on facebook..i believe he will meet Nigerians there and contact them to see if he can be accomodated for some days then he looks for an accomodation close to school. Thats the best

Hey everyone, I've been following this tread for years now.. I must say @Justwise and the rest are really doing a very great job keeping it active. However, I just got admitted into the University of Bedfordshire. I wana find out how long it takes a Tier 4 UK student visa to be processed.
Also, I wana enquire how good the university is and if anyone here has been admitted for February 2017 intake. In addition to that, what are the tips every applicant going for an interview must know? Furthermore, my university didn't request for IELTS and I heard the embassy would reject applicants without the aforementioned English Proficiency Result. Lastly, what's the cost of living in terms of only accommodation and feeding (16-17y/o) ? Can one get a decent accommodation of 200-250 quids monthly ?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation

--------2Baba

1. Visa processing takes between 3 to 15 working days.

2. If going by general ranking you may have to think again about your choice, you may have to narrow it down to course ranking.

3. If the uni did not ask for English language test then the embassy will not refuse you because of that.

4. The university is modern, new facilities, located at the heart of Luton town, great transport network and closer to London.

5. Cost of living is moderate but then again it will depend on your lifestyle but with your maintenance money you will be fine.

You need a miracle to get a single bedroom for 200-250 a month in Luton.

Hi guys, how do I determine the amount to be paid for my health insurance fee. My PhD program is 3 years but 4 years was stated on my CAS (1/1/2017 to 31/12/2020). The problem now is that when I checked online it shows £675 which is for 4 and half years. Is that the amount I should pay?

.

Just put the start and end date on your CAS in ur application, it is going to calculate the amount automatically. It should 918 USD though.

Hello everyone, my financial sponsorship is for 3 years and my PhD program is for 4 years as stated on my CAS but I know I will finish in 3 years. Hope that won't affect my VISA application.

NOT a problem at All. Remember that tuition is not paid for the fourth year. So you have no problems at all.
Just apply for your visa...
Was the same thing with mine. Got my visa within 6days without paying for any priority..
Good luck!

Please house how much for UK visa fee ?

Do I have to pay it along with the IHS fee or I can pay the IHS first before applying for a visa and paying the visa fee separately?

Also can any of the charges above be paid in cash?

Let me attempt to answer:

1. UK Visa fee (tier 4 PBS): I paid USD440 ( really crazy that I was charged in Dollars and not in pounds).

2. You MUST pay the IHS fully, FIRST before you are able to proceed, even with the form submission. You can't pay the Visa fees before the IHS. iHS must be paid in full (depends on your expected duration). I paid USD 918 for a 4 year tier 4 Visa.

3. NONE of the charges can be paid cash. You can't do a Bank Transfer either.
You MUST use a Card. Because of the crazy CBN policy we have had recently, the easiest thing for you to do is get a Dollar or Pounds Mastercard from someone who has a dollar account...

I have asked this question before and I still want to ask again for proper clarification.

As regards the English language requirement, it was stated on my CAS that SELT not required, and the reason the gave was that HEI has made assessment.

Now the question is, do I need to attach my WAEC result to my application? (Note: nothing was referred to on my CAS as result used to assess my English)

However, my undergraduate certificate and transcript was demanded to prove the qualifications I used to get the offer.

To recap my question, do I need to attach my WAEC result to my application?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Graciousrev(f): 1:47am On Oct 26, 2016
You've been assessed already by the HEI,there is no need for Selt. But if the Uni has assessed you based on your Wassce qualification,I will advise you submit that as well.I believe that helps!!xxxx
