Spare me the long sermon amd prove you have a brian.
elektra:

No one needs to see their brain physically to know it is there. It is a proven FACT that humans need brains to function!
How can you compare the presence a vital organ to the existence of witches?

It's not enough to just say "witches & wizards" don't exist.

How did you arrived at this conclusion? Prove that they don't exist.
The onus of proff falls on you, logic dictates witches and wizards are pigments of imaginations of less develeoped/impovrished societies but if you have Video evidence of an actual witch or wizard you can put it forward.
FYI its only in very poor countries were disease and hunger is the norm that such nonsense like demons and witches dictates arguements rather proper medical diagnosis.

There is a huge difference between Witchcraft and Psychosis madam.

You need to read more on Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Personality disorders, Depression... These stuffs vary from Witchcraft.

If you have ever seen a psychotic patient, you should know the likely consequences labelling them "WITCH". You'd almost get your face burnt. Unless your pastor is dum.b, he should know the differences.

Meanwhile, your post lack scientific references, it sounds so incoherent and clumsy. How could you call insomnia witchcraft? You've largely described hallucination, and that again isn't witchcraft.

Please read more on that and you will be amazed to know that the WHITES (who gave you education and everything you are/know today) believe and practice witchcraft!

There are atheists who believe in witches and wizards like ifenes

ifenes:
It is ignorant of anyone based in Nigeria to claim there are no humans who have access to upgraded human abilities(witches/wizards) Going to special schools shouldn't result in total ignorance. Physics,Chemistry,Biology,Mathematics etc should be tools to understanding the phenomenon of wizardry,Alchemy etc not total delusion. When a person claims there is no possible way a human can develop more than the normal 5 senses, that person has lost the plot regardless of what he/she has achieved.

Atheism is a only a disbelieve in a supreme deity, apart from that opinions are different.

OP, thank you for your well reasoned, well written post.

The amount of superstitious, juvenile mythology that some people choose to hide behind is disturbing.

Churches and other religious sham organizations are making billions of dollars (globally) because of fear and ignorance.

If Satan could succeed in making people believe he doesn't exist, he has won the battle.

I’m a big nerd. I love Lord of the Rings. I love Harry Potter. I love scary movies. I love dinosaurs, science, aliens, ghosts.

Not sooo weird, I suppose.
But then the interview goes into something a bit more dark. The interviewer asks her if she’s seen aliens, but she goes into demons, which is obviously a tie to the dark forces that she surely is exposed to in the entertainment industry:

Have you ever seen an alien?
Not an alien, but I’ve had a ghost/demon experience. We were in Kansas City a few weeks ago and went to this haunted castle and were so excited. The next night we wanted to go to Stull Cemetery, which is known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth. The Pope won’t fly over it—

I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon, and there was a fly in the car randomly, which is another sign of a demon. I was like, “This is scary, let’s leave.” I rolled down the window before we left and said, “We apologize. We didn’t mean to disrupt your peace.” Then I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture—they’re faces of textbook demons.

Let’s see the picture.
I deleted it. The next day I tried to send the picture to my manager and it said, “This file can’t be sent, it’s 666 megabytes.” I’m not kidding. I used to have a folder called “Demons” that had pictures with all the screencaps in it, but then weird things started happening to me so I deleted it.

I was going to sleep about two weeks ago. I had just gotten off the phone and as soon as I closed my eyes I heard this really loud rumble right by my head. When I opened my eyes it stopped immediately, but when I closed my eyes it started again with whispers. Every time I closed my eyes I started seeing these really disturbing images with, like, red shapes. Then I opened my eyes and got back on the phone and was like, “I’m really scared and I don’t want to go to bed tonight.” And then I scooched over to the left side of my bed, because that’s where the best service is in my room, and there was this massive black matter. I don’t know what it was.

It was like a cloud of something black right next to me. I started crying. I was on the phone like, “What do I do, what do I do?” and they said, “Tell it to eff off.” I thought, I’m not going to do that. It’s going to upset it, so I’m just going to chill and not feed into it because all it wants is fear. It feeds on fear. I watched it move to the front of my bed and then I fell asleep on the phone. I woke up and it was gone. The next night my friend Tyler was staying with me. She said she was trying to sleep and her body felt paralyzed almost, and she described the same exact thing I saw.

[/b]
What is this supposed to prove?

When I see posts like these, I can only but wonder why all medical doctors who have spent years studying the human body are not non believers in the supernatural?

On the contrary, doctors are one of the most religious people on planet earth. Majority of them rever God and believe in the supernatural. I guess, because they have seen many things.

However, its the Wikipedia and google doctors who seem to be jumping around peddling non belief.

I dont just know why. Really.

Yes people have mental issues atimes, but the fact is witches and wizards exist. Jezebel was a good example in the bible, things existing now are things that had existed in the bible, you can choose to believe what you want but always pray that witches for your village no get una time.

The poster is very right. Our beliefs are so ingrained in the belief in witchcraft that we fail to seek help when our family members, relatives and loved ones suffer from mental health illnesses.

Conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, anxiety disorder, depression, anorexia, personality disorders, etc are all established mental health conditions which we ascribe to Witchcraft. But we are wrong. There are many contributory factors to the development of mental health illnesses of which witchcraft is not one of them.

Few years ago, an old woman was almost lynched in Lagos for turning into "a bird and flying from Ogun to Lagos". Of course that was what she said on interrogations by the mob. In reality, that was a woman whose children brought to Lagos to look after her as she presented with dementia symptoms.

Anything we don't understand is witchcraft. Some people still believe that cars are controlled by witches.

Doctors are one of the most religious people on earth... Is that a factual statement?? Doctors, especially the ones in developed countries who don't grow up doing morning devotions every day usually have the God complex, where they feel so proud of science and their skills... These ones ate definitely not religious...

The ignorant europeans( white in layman terms) gave us religious falacies and not education, they moved away from such nonsense along time ago when they attained the level of development that makes one who believes in wiches and wizards sound like an idiot. Offcourse there are still ignorant europeans whose low I.Q or Lack or Education can make him/her believe in such nonsense but a far majority of the population now understand that an illness is caused either by neaurological deficiency or a biological attack by microbs.
Fast forward to Africa and you would see the same behavior exhibited by Europeans at a time in the past when ignorance was the norm and eauropeans actually believed a solar eclipse was caused by an angry God. The high level of poverty and low level of litracy makes it possible for 99% of Nigerians to believe an accident is caused by witches and wizards ( who mostly recide in the rural villages) than a mechanical failure.
Bring video evidence of a rat turning into an old woman or an old woman turning into a rat and we can discuss from there. This is 2016 not 1801
