27 year old who died after allegedly drinking concoction given by her pastor, buried amidst tears

Last week we reported the story of 27 year old Maryjane Chinwendu, who died after allegedly drinking a concoction her pastor, Ola Bakare, of Jesus the solution Ministry gave her when complained to having stomach pains (read here). The lady has been buried in her own town Imo State amidst tears.

According to Maryjane's brother Chinonso Izuka, the accused pastor is still at large, while some members of the church and assistant pastor were arrested but released a few days later.

The police has however gotten the phone number of the pastor and have contacted him, asking him to report to the police station in Ajangbandi'

u musn't be tribalistic in everything though.

i keep on saying it...religion has done more harm than good in this world. such a young girl, common stomach ache u couldn't go to the hospital...even chemist.Look how she just wasted her life...since when did pastors become doctors...

Let this be a lesson to the rest of you who believe everything these business men masqurading as pastors tell you!

The lady might have died from the ailments
But what's the correlation between a man of God and concoction,
It's a pity most pastors are not called by God but by their stomach

Not every stomach ache is common, many people have died from it right in the hospital.

She was sick before going to the pastor so why did you completely rule out the possibility of her death being caused by her initial ailments?

Why the premature conclusion that the pastor killed her.


A lot of people have died and still die in the hospital after being attended to by doctors.

Can we then say that the doctors killed them?

Religion does more harm than Good according to you but you have forgotten that religion brought the education that made these men Doctors.
