Hello all,
I just started reading the forum for some time now as I am interested on migrating to oz.

Found out that the Northern Territory is sponsoring my occupation. Human resources advisor
South Australia also with certain conditions,
With vetasss I need at least one year work experience post qualification I have not worked in this area yet but have administrative work experience I stopped in 2013 for 3 years to do my masters.
1. Wondering if I can get a favorable outcome from vettass and be nominated by the Northern Territory.
Also ,2. can I pay domestic fee with the 487 visa what's the main difference with it and 190.
My husband is into business we just had our first child pls for people who have successfully crossed over to the territory 3. how did you do the pof and other documentations as per their requirements And what is life like in the territory ?
Here are my points for calculation
Age. 29
Education : masters human resources management
Experience: 3 years in closely related course(administration)
English: not written yet. Which is easier to ace pte or Ielts.
Thank you so much for your suggestions

These Australian senators and ministers got no chill...

Provisional Visa

So now they're debating over stopping direct Permanent Residency visa, and in place of that issue a provisional visa that will eventually lead to permanent residency.

I envy those that have got theirs done and dusted. Guess it's time to buckle up for me, though I'm sure it won't happen anytime soon.

Hope that guy know you are taken?
Hope your preparation is going on well?

mamajaz:

You may try and find out by visiting the centre. However, I enjoyed my interaction with the guy when I arranged an appointment with him. He was all over me, encouraging me on how to go about it though I am yet to write mine.
Anytime I am ready sha that's the surest place.

Bellong, kindly help me with this question. My first degree is in Pharmacy and I have an MBA from a UK university. I have been working in Human Resources. How do I go about assessing my credentials since I am not practicing Pharmacy. Also, do they assess professional certifications like CIPM & HIS?

If you have experience working in the occupation, yes you can get a positive assessment. Your professional certifications will be an added advantage as they will show you truly had a career change.

@Akinnawou,

Congratulations bro.. on to the next phase.

May God direct your steps and grant you speed.

@Amanda0.

No one can confidently tell whether you will get a positive assessment or not until you try. However, with VETASSES, nothing like closely related. Your experience must match the description of the occupation you are nominating.

As per Northern territory, it is not a bad place contrary to whatever you may have read. An average Außie doesn't like it because it is hotter than the rest of the country, it has a tropical climate along with parts of Queensland(Northern part).

What you need for POF is clearly explained on their website. Not necessarily liquid cash. Anything that can translate to money.

That being said, I guess you should be more worried about your assessment at this stage than Northern territory.

The Liberals will first have to crack the ALP and Greens to push it through and that is one hard nut to crack.

It may never happen under Turnbull.

There is no part that says Nigerians are not qualified. There are teachers who have migrated and are not on Nairaland.

This thread is a general instruction for all occupations. It was listed there that you should follow the instructions of your assessing authority.

Take time to read requirements of AITSL, I guess for teachers. If you can meet their requirements, you are good to go.
