I was wondering that as well.
I was smelling a sinister plot, but sha didn't want to talk.

How can Igalas who are still fighting the Ibos over the same issue of land be giving them "free land" somewhere else?
Honestly, who even gives anything free in Nigeria? undecided

IPOB-ians and propaganda are like 5 and 6! wink

you are very contradictory. In one of your posts you said Agburu is the word for lineage in Igbo but Agbor in Anioma and the other post you said Agbo is lineage all over Igbo land as against the Binis Agbon. Do you even know what you're talking about?
Reread my post again....I said the terminology depends on your cultural zone in Igboland angry
The whole Western cultural zone of Igboland use Agbo for lineage

This is the Tiv in middle belt, with their own stripes of black and white. wat is the difference with the picture posted as Ebira being yoruba? undecided

Re-ea-ally?? shocked You want us to believe this? Is that why those Enogies also have Bini/Edo personal names & surnames?

Means nothing, when we know that there are long list of Ugbodu kings with strictly Bini names, when Bini still had influence over Enu-ani area.
Igbanke is still currently under Edo and hence under lots of influence from Edo, hence those Edoid names.

The word for king in Igbanke local dialect is Eze, and not Enogie, Enogie is a vestige of Bini colonial influence on Igbanke.

With this your theory, you want us to believe this so-called influence is why many of the indigenes as well as the Enogies, also have personal names and surnames that reflect an Edo heritage, not so? We are talking of entire lineages of different families bearing Edo names, o! shocked Aren't surnames supposed to reflect a person's ancestry?? undecided

This is another tribe the Igbos are trying desperately to claim. But which I don't care about.
There is nothing like "Middle belt fashion"..... Is middle belt a tribe or people?

That cap style is predominantly worn by Yorubas, Edos and SOME tribes in the middle belt.
Ebiras have been weaving since time immemorial just like Yorubas. All the other tribes wearing striped colored woven fabric are recent inventions which they all did in order to have nationally identifiable colors. (White and black for tiv, red and black for Idoma, green and black for igede etc)

The entire Edo and Ebira are coming along to Biafra, we will just cut out the yoruba bits in Edo and Kogi.

Technically, they are our mixed tribe children. Though distinct from us. The choice is for them to make.

No thank you. Btw, one of the people that keeps replying you is an avid Igbo hater. I advise all Igbo posters to ignore him, maybe he'll leave us alone.

do you know the history of Ugbodu? These people are from Owo area of Ondo state before the advent of Oduduwa. They are more related to the Edos than they are related to Oyo and Ife. They sojourned in Bini before moving Eastward to their present location.

lol.... Igbos are the only major tribe in Nigeria where Oyibos recorded large scale nudism in the modern Nigerian era.
So, it sounds more like you were actually being sarcastic when you made the bolded statement.

I can imagine an Igbo man in the 1930s tying wrapper and exposing his groin for the world to see.
Sokoto, Shoro or Kembe is as Yoruba as a tuxedo is British.

We are happy to share them with you..... You are welcome.

Obviously you are more deluded than I thought.
And I even mentioned that statement, before I said they share a lot of culture with Yorubas. That are rooted in Oduduwa but branched in Arewa.

You see, Yorubas don't make open brazzen claims like Igbos.
You for example said Edos and Ebiras are your "daughter" tribes. lol grin
Whatever that means.

I just do not understand their affinity for propaganda. sad And the way they get so offended when their inaccuracies, lies, fallacy and half-truths are exposed. where did you get it that an Nri priest lived at Agbor? Even as biased as Iduwe's book is, there was no where he mentioned Nri when you was talking about Igweh. Same Iduwe wrote that Eken, Orie, Afor and Nkwor are of Agbor origin and not Nri. You see the kind of book you people advise someone that wants to learn correct history to read?
Shei its biased bkos it doesnt feed your "Bini" ego isn't ittongue anyways I'd always go for something written by an Ika chief and endorsed by the Dein over whatever that comes outta your mouth undecided

Let me tell you, Ebiras in their oral history say they originated from Jukun land, but their language denies that fact cos it is Nupoid in nature. Both these tribes are in the north Central.
However Ebiras have related extensively with Yoruba tribes over centuries and have thus become much closer than their origin would suggest due to lateral exchange of culture. Even the southern portions of Nupes share a lot with Yorubas.
It is somehow similar to Yoruba and Edo. Different people, similar culture resulting from ages of cross cultural interaction.

A the end of the day, they have no business in Biafra.
Try Ibibio, it might work. .. .. ..

My point exactly. Having Bini surnames and names of King means nothing, as having those didn't change the fact that the people were of Owo origin.
The Edo names their kings had at a time in history when they were under Bini influence is only a mark of Bini imperialism.
Today, with Anioma having been excised from Edo, and Bini influence dying a natural death, the entire Anioma is once again returning to their root, and even Ugbodu, though of Owo origin are pulled along, as they today have kings with Igbo surnames.
