which school will you recommend for admission because that University of Northern British Columbia application deadline has passed. Which course specifically in that UNBC is easy to get admission?

If Canada is ur only aim...Simon Fraser University or Victoria University charges around 5480cad ..excluding application fee of around 147 to 156 cad...but u also need toefl or ielts for both schools...their 2017 entry application is still open...

.From my personal statistics of student I helped in processing admission,Science courses, language courses, and education management are quite easy...MBA is usually kinda wierd cos lots of peeps applying for MBA usually are not in the management line...but the truth of the matter is ur undergraduate course /CGPA and personal statement will speak a lot for you in wateva course u apply for.

But also try and make sure ur undergrad study course is very related to ur post grad application it helps like garri and cold water in a hot Sunday afternoon...if not u need strong work experience relevant related to the Masters or pdg course u r applying for so u don't waste application fee, it's usually unrefundable.

I made an application for a dude that graduated with BSC in chemistry and has been teaching mathematics for 7yrs...he wanted an MBA so as to expose him to more senior managemnt job opportunities, weda he decides to come back to naija or not....I advice him to chose an MSC in chemistry, environmental management ..or education or juvenile management since he was dealing with Student and lecturin...but he refused....
eventually portsmouth University denied him on grounds that his background knowledge isn't gonna equip him for his choice of course neither is his work experience relevant.

Please what's approval email?

Approval email is an alert the embassy usually sends when your visa has been approved.
The logistics delay in dispatching the documents is possibly from the embassy themselves. But is will be eventually dispatched.

Let us know your status when you receive it. If your visa is approved, you definitely have to write to the school and defer your admission.

Honestly,I agree with you totally, hence my request yesterday on this thread about possibility of discussing other Canadian visa types.
Still awaiting a response from the gurus in the house.

They have been saying that same statement of expecting it or in transit since past two weeks now. Wished that linked the paper application to online to know my fate. So many things are just stalled at the moment.

I did paper application and did not get an approval email. Is the approval email for both online and paper applications? The only place I confirmed my processed document had been dispatched was via tracking.

Hi, pls I need advice on course to apply for coz of this VO palava, I have my first degree in physics with electronics (2.68cgpa), obviously I can't get admission for msc program coz of my cgpa. Pls advice on related course for PGC or PGD with low tuition and links.
Thanks.

I think some some university offer upgrade to masters program similar to PGC(D). You will have to email graduate coordinators or admin of your interested program to know if they can give you that. Thanks.

Patience, permutations, and prayers are really key in the Canadian study race. The problem is that most 9ja applicants neglect the first two requirements and glue to the last.
It is well and shall end with praises.

Nope..they don't waive ooo.infact they won't take the scores from u tru uploading on application page u have to pay another 11dollars to the body weda IELTS or toefl to send ur test score directly to dem.

Anyone I'm processing admission for, I advice dem to get the bloody toefl done jare..it opens more oportunities..imagine northern British Columbia charging tution around 4,000 cad except fo their MBA dat tuition is around 7,000 cad which isn't even up to 2million......a lot of UK schools waive English language test for Nigerians..there school fees is just too high....just do it and get it over with.seiz the oportunity now b4 they will increase school fees.
For example,A whole lot of German University don't charge tution for both indigenes a international...but I saw info on UNI-Assist portal that international masters applicant might start to pay from 2018/2019 session....so seize the opportunity while it's still available

WRONG. ....They waived English test for me when I applied. Though you have to apply and mail them an evidence that your previous education were in English Language.

Please let's be sure before giving answers to any question to avoid misleading people.

which school waived it for you? Did you finally get the admission? Did you have to secure supervisor before applying?

also all, please for somebody that studied Bachelor in computer science going for Master in public administration is it okay. Is the courses related or accepted for visa application? I am trying to avoid Embassy wahala for me sister to avoid purpose of visit issue

It is advisable you go away from that course. Stick to your Computer science and get your trv.

I didn't have to secure supervisor.

Sorry if I am about to derail... Just and observation/suggestion

Please I just want to make an appeal, please let us take it easy with the way we lool down on some questions and go straight to tell people to Google it. Google can virtually answer all questions here but sometimes Google will still bring up links to nairaland forums for answers. Instead of shutting people down that way just keep a blind eye to the question it's better than making someone feel he is asking an irrelevant question.

This doesn't mean information seekers should be lazy, u still have a work to do to consolidate the answers you get from here.

Just my own opinion though!

Thanks for all your supports and good works

Smiles. When I say Google it, It doesn't mean I am looking down on someone or any question. It means you will get first-hand and best information on Google, or a link to such there.

I think only a lazy person will pick offense on the statement "Google it". A busy person would probably be worried or sad that it means more work.

The best you can do when you get lost in Google is to come back with evidence of being lost and you shall be helped.

Let's try and up our game. Let's show we are independent to some degree. We are all busy persons. Asking simple questions like schools and programs isn't bad, but our focus should be on helping each other to submit a fantastic admission and visa profile.
Many admission and visa applicant are rejected because of poor profile. It isn't about applying alone, it is also about how and what you apply with. I was a victim of poor admission profile. So, I'm not a saint.

Thanks. cool

I would say when you are referred to goggle for minor questions, kindly take the pain to use it, as it will broaden your horizon of what only few answers will be given to you on this thread. If you avoid google to get half baked answers, what will you do when you are required to carry out some research while studying in Canada? will you come to NairaLand to ask for answers undecided undecided

Please house I need your advice on this issue. A friend just got his trv approved and his school deadline to resume is 13th which the school is not ready to grant any extension. The problem now is that the school has refused to grant him an extension of time but can only defer his admission to fall 2017. He has another offer from Conestoga College and they are willing to grant him extension of time. Can he use the second college to travel since the original college which he used to secure trv is not willing to grant extension?
