I don come again oh, pls oh make una epp me oh....

For the visa application for sponsor, should I use my place of employment as sponsor sending me for the masters or should I use self sponsor or family sponsor?

I was thinking place of employment as sponsor will show ties to Nigeria (I will provide my leave letter from the company and also write in my motivational letter that my company is sponsoring me for the masters because of a project that they want to launch soon) and hopefully convince the visa officer that I will return after the masters will give me a higher chance of getting the visa compared to family or self sponsor.

Please advise me abeg

I don't think a company can sponsor...but an individual in d company dat earns about a million every month with proof dat it his/her monthly income... I will suggest u use a foreign sponsor or blocked fund (7600 euros). I stand to be corrected anyway...

Secondly, are you applying for visa soon or your session is for 2017/2018? Please help me clarify dat... I believe the admission for 2016/2017 is closed... In essence the sponsor rate will be changed( every academic year)... 2015 was 617 or so, 2016 is 631 am sure 2017 will differ..

I hope this helps...

Hello All! Please I need an urgent advice. I would explain my case briefly.

I have been following this thread for a while and was also preparing my documents because I was expecting a decision from the European Union concerning Erasmus Mundus scholarship. I was unsuccessful as at then. Fortunately, almost the same time I got the rejection I won a scholarship from the Swedish Institute and have submitted my application for visa. I got a mail yesterday from the coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus program informing me that I have been reconsidered and selected for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. In the mail, she said would be sending me the official documents as soon as possible and that there is no guarantee I would secure the visa but that they would do all they can by writing to the embassy and all. While both offers are very good, I am disposed to the Erasmus offer. Now my queries are;

1. Is it still possible to secure a Belgian visa given the time frame and also considering the fact if I would go for the offer, I would be submitting my documents in July(second week at the latest) ? The school resumes on the 19th of September . The risk here is that if I wait till September for the Belgian visa, It would automatically mean I would forfeit the Swedish offer because I should be in Sweden mid August . Also since there is no guarantee of securing the visa like the coordinator said, I would have lost both offers if I don't get a response from Belgium embassy before the 10th of Sept. The other option which I don't know if it's possible leads to point 2.

2. I would be getting my Swedish study visa soon( I understand that it is a schenghen visa) can I use it to enter Belgium then apply for residence permit there?

The gurus in the house should please shed more light. Thanks

Bro I need your help on the Swedish scholarship u can contact me on okekeamala@gmail.com
Thnx

Your best way to lean, and get facts is to use Google to find schools and then study their web sites.
Make notes and then you will be better equipped if you apply.

Nothing in life is easy and no one can give you all the information here.

good morning,
happh new year to all... for those who intends studying in belgium, its a long process, so u need to start ontime, above all most school application is still on,

Preparatory programs are msinly for those going for bsc in dutch n not english language programs, also if u r going for masters but you didnt meet their requirement, you MIGHT be asked to go for preparatory class/course before you can enrol for your course.

About 10 of us applied for Belgium visa for 2016/2017 academic session last year... and i can say cleatly that we all got our visa..we recorded 100% visa approval for all of us who worked together on NL even though some gotrefused cos of funds but re applied and still got it..

Never the less, Belgium visa is easy as long as you get your sponsor ...YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET YOUR VISA u have to pass intervies though...

On behalf of the rest, we will be willing to assist anyway we can, God that helped us hasnt changed His form... He willsurely help u too..

lets know whats the iss, challenge n we will tackle it here on NL.. you can do it and you will get it.

happy new year

its quite a relief hearing such good news from you. I've read this page from start to this point and this is the first encouraging word from this page.
my question is for how long does the dutch preparatory course take?
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by kesx(m): 2:00pm On Jan 19, 2017
i got this mail from the school i applied to, all my certificates are in English i am confused on what to do next
i am applying for a master degree in International Business Management.

Dear prospective student of KU Leuven,

Thank you for your application!

This email serves to inform you that your application is currently incomplete. The missing documents that you need to upload are:
· TOEFL/IELTS score report or proof of registration for the TOEFL/IELTS-test
· GMAT/GRE score report or proof of registration for the GMAT/GRE-test

You should also still send certified hard copies through post.

Kind regards

@fikki after doing some research yesterday based on the info you gave me, I realized most of the preparatory programmes starts February and the bsc programme starts sept and it quite clear one can't meet up with the preparatory programme and without that applying for bsc is not worth it since it will be thought in dutch. What do I do? and how much does the preparatory programme cost?

Like I said previously, preparatory year of Dutch is for BSc programme tot in Dutch... You can only apply for the preparatory program if n only when your preferred school has given you admission to study ... To apply, you must have your admission letter from your preferred school.
Admission for BSC is still on for some schools till ending ... Application for preparatory year starts by August...

Note: Your BSC admission will be for year 2018/2019... While preparatory admission will be 2017/2018...but you must hv admission for BSC first...

The pay for the preparatory year is 2250 euros... For 8months Jan to Aug...
Levels 1-6

I hope I answered your questions.. Happy weekend bro...

Good morning all. Great work here. I'm wondering how the application (process) for undergrad admission for Ghent works. I've scoured their website but I'm still at sea. Any pointers, please?
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by BarrEgo(f): 10:36am On Jan 26, 2017
No, you must write IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge. Only waiver is if you're from some select English speaking countries or have studied in an English speaking country, U.K, for eg.

It's easy let me not say otherwise, you apply online through oasis, n afterwards u wait for their reply if u are asked to continue, it means u will be considered for admission... Your motivation matters a lot... Bsc in Ghent is a Dutch taught program so u will have to apply for language program after your admission is granted..

Application fee is not needed for Ghent university...

You can still apply i assume before January 31st

Any more info... Dont hesitate to ask...
