I think now you have to wait a month or two or so i'm not sure o, maybe you should go to the bank to inquire about the requirements but before as at the time I opened it was immediately you could apply.
You know the harder the dollar gets to find the more stupid policies they start to bring up

I opened in december and was told I have to wait 3 months.

Sure you can travel. You won't have a problem as long as you arrive the US before the expiry date.

All the best!

No qualms what so ever, you are good to go,just enter Yankee before visa expires, even if it's a day or 2 before expiration.

My wife has called the passport office and was told that they gave me one year to prove that I notarized the consent form, though I used notary public.

The standard is 5 years.

1 year is when you use a certain type of birth certificate/ notary form that is not fully recognised / or something along those lines.

Yes this is correct.

Spoke to the financial counsellor and she said prices have not changed but I saw a documentation that said it's now $5000 for hospital. Me I dan port. Houston Methodist no be by force.

I'm wary of paying early. I will continue scouting to see what gives.

And now Chi St. Luke's Hospital in Sugar Land has a new policy. You pay a $20,000 deposit before registration. Confirmed this at the hospital yesterday.

You can only use it to transit via the airport, it doesn't allow you enter into Canada, it's same as ETA

Hi chloe7, please do you know if I can open an account with Stanbic IBTC now and jes request for PTA or I must be an existing account holder. Please assist, my contact for PTA is telling me stories now and I'm travelling in a few weeks.

I opened mine in November 2016 and as soon as I got the account number I applied for PTA but was advised I must apply at least 3weeks before my travel date. I got the PTA (3k applied for 4k) a couple of days before departure.
