You just expanded what I said - Gentiles are people who are not Jews. The Jewish people have always felt they are the chosen ones. Gentiles specifically was used for Roman people living in Palestine.

On the other hand, you can call Africans Gentiles too and borrowing your words - rejected people, you can see how segregation perfectly play itself in the Bible. Then how ironically, Africans are practicing a religion not meant for them and quoting the Bible to justify their worship.

It is a grave error that you are making to form conviction or build doctrine on only a single stand-alone verse. Doctrine and conviction must be built precept by precept.

This same verse you are misinterpreting can be seen in Mark 9:1, and in Luke 9:27.

Fortunately or unfortunately, that verse is talking about you. Jesus was not talking about a time in the past, Jesus is talking about now. And Jesus is talking to people like you.

Mark 8:38 crossing over to Mark 9:1 presents the best perspective to help us understand the Words of Jesus

Jesus is talking about this PRESENT adulterous and sinful generation that will be ashamed of his Words because of the care and profit of this present world. Jesus is asking his disciples, his brethren, what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? This passage is not talking about a time in the past, it is talking about now, this present moment. Jesus is warning his disciples to stay on guard against the deceptive allures of this present world.

This is the exact same symptoms that you are manifesting. Why are you resisting the coming of Christ or is this not the whole purpose of our existence as Christians- To live a righteous life and be on the look-out for the coming of our blessed hope?

Your soul has been taken in and you are manifesting the very signs that Jesus warns against. Covetousness and Greed for the goods of this debased world. You are drunk on salt water and are hideously thirsty for the world’s goods, that’s why you are resisting!

I honestly do not understand most of your sentences. However, the Bible is not the oldest book in the world. Buddhism and Hinduism are the oldest religion in the world and much older than Christianity and they both have manuscripts older than the Bible.

If Christians seek to gain more understanding about their religion, they must read wide, be tolerant to other books of truth. The Bible did not do sufficient justice in explaining the kingdom of God, but other books of truth were able to do that. When you have this knowledge and then read the Bible, you will understand the parables of Jesus and the confusion would be clear.

You can start with the Gospel of Thomas which was removed from the Bible. It still retains much of the four popular gospel texts but in it Jesus said something when his disciples asked when will the kingdom of God come and he replied, it will not come by waiting or by pointing it is here or there, but the kingdom of God is already within

My dear, if you don't follow what I had written earlier in sequence then you might find it hard to understand. However, Budhuism and Hinduism aren't older than the Bible. Specifically, did Buddhism had Biblical perspective of almighty God?, Did it recognised Pharaoh tenure on earth and the land of Egypt as the most civilized of ancient times? Did Buddhism recognised Amon/Thebes (city of hundred gates in her book ? ,Please let not be biased irrespective of religion differences. I haven't come across any researchers who had refer to Buddhist Book as a reference point to his or her work . Even Yoruba Ethnicity testify to the Bible. How? The belief of ONE SUPREME INDIVISIBLE GOD. I don't know where you came across your own but his I learnt from a professor when I was in the University days.
