The truth about the matter is the soldiers are sent to arrest any Aguta person trying to defend itself against the fulani herdsmen. So, if a soldier was killed, they could have done that out of frustration.

When the fulani herdsmen attacks, no soldier shows up. But the moment the youth come out to defend themselves against the fulani herdsmen, the soldiers will arrest them.

About two weeks ago, in one of the community, the vigilante group were able to resist the fulani herdsmen. The next thing they saw was soldiers coming to arrest two men and while they were taking them away, the boys blocked the road and they were forced to drop the men arrested.
