This is not a demonstration but riot. Many school properties were destroyed in the process. The students shouldn't have gone to this level. The implication is that the school authority may likely close down the school and ask the students to vacate the campus. When the school is re-opened the students would be made to pay for the damages and sign undertaking to be of good character and will still pay the stipulated fees. All these could have been averted if the students had allowed the SUG to engage the management. |

engrpheleeks:it's not about the money but we're not getting value for the money paid, if you say you charge all this for health, transportation, Wi-fi, development levy, etc..we should see something.. try to get a futo school fees receipt. the details of the total money is there but we still pay the same money again apart from the one you paid as school fees, it's crazy |

It's really easy for you to sit where ever you are and judge we students of FUTO without adequate information. You don't know what went wrong. 1 Like

I am a student of the school and i must say the students crossed limits. It is quite true in comparing our school fees with other technology school in the country one may say it is relatively high. But the extreme and aggressive actions was not and will never be the best way to sought things out. It was suppose to be a peaceful protest but i guess students who have grudges against the management due to other reasons took this as an opportunity to express their anger. This made things worse. Peaceful protest could have done better and a formal address from the vc could have done more *magic* Objectivity really is a great tool in judgement and i so much beleive the students would have a second thought when they try to see things from the school management perspective. |

As for the course registration there is a directive from the vc to those forcing students to register courses with money to refund it to the student. The memorandum is on the door of EEE year one class adviser's office |
