Dude, I don't have to visit any thread to know that you're letting your ego get the better of you. Telco datas are based on REGISTERED LINES! Those lines are REAL lines that belong to REAL people. Infact, that data is more reliable than any data NPC has ever cooked-up since Nigeria started conducting censuses. Telcos are neutral/independent parties here. The figures you're touting sef is based on a discredited premise - The abysmally flawed and fraudulent 2006 Census. If the premise if flawed, obviously nothing credible can come from and out of it. Look, you can choose to believe whatever you like, that's your business.
Lol, does line registration reject double registration?? is not about fuming up and down. Just tell what makes Telco data reliable. In the event that NPC and NBS stats are manipulated, what make it likely that Anambra will be favoured more than Rivers?? IN your Telco data, FCT is higher than Rivers, no other proof of how flawed it is than that

Nah, that's certainly not the only reason coz the Telcos data shows that even Edo state has more people than Anambra which is clearly the most populous state in the SE. The Ogun and Oyo figures alone sef is more than all the SE states combined according to those stats (doesn't even include Osun, ondo, and Ekiti). I think for some reason the SE region isn't experiencing as much population growth compared to other sections of the country.

So only your Igbo people no dey buy double sim while the rest do just to ramp up their numbers? Whatever yardstick or excuse you make (double sim or whatever) will apply across the board, not unless you're trying to imply that Igbos have a unique telephony habit compared to the rest of the country. cheesy So you see that you don't have a case. cheesy You're just ego-tripping that's all. Young man, the way you argue is just funny. Is line registration valid when people can register as much as they want it is that simple, quit being emotional about it

Are you saying Igbo people no dey do multiple registration? cheesy Oh no, lemme guess, the Telcos conspired with the rest of the country to reduce SE numbers to deprive y'all of your rightful position? As for the Abuja numbers, if the data says the FCT is currently more populated than Rivers, so what? So be it. undecided

Dude, I don't want to believe that you're as silly as you're starting to sound. The data in question is based on lines registered within every state of the federation, including the FCT. There's an obvious logical pattern in those numbers dude. Unless you're trying to imply that Igbo people in the SE as a matter of preference are less likely to register multiple lines, then you have no case. Quit grasping at straws and fvck off my mention. Thank you. Geez!

I've tried ignoring you but since you mentioned me, I have just one question for you. How do you explain those Anambra/SE Telco data numbers? Is it that Anambra/SE folks don't like using phones? Una traders, students, parents, civil servants, farmers, politicians e.t.c no dey make calls or buy phones like the rest of the country? Or your people are so rural and backward that they are averse to modern telephony?? Whether you like it or not, that raw Telco data is the closest thing we have to a credible estimate -- you can choose to add or subtract a million to/from any of those numbers and it wouldn't make much of a difference. The NBS figures you're touting are mere extrapolated/theoretical estimates that have absolutely no empirical basis. undecided
I will ignore all your insults and an attempt to derail the arguments, coming from someone who accused another of being igbo supremacist just because he talked about Jamb data and state of origin. If i descend on you now on the ethnic thing now.......
meanwhile tell us how FCT is higher than Rivers in your telco data and why NPC and NBC that is recongnized should be discarded. Visit this thread

You are being childish by throwing insults and looking for ways to go tribal, i know insulting igbos is sweeter than jollof rice in Nigeria. It is well established fact that FCT is sparsely populated, both rivers and anambra are fare more populated than FCT, FCT is like 1/4 of RIvers population but they it has more lines than Rivers, please explain to us.

You're not making sense dude. The last time Nigeria had a census was in 2006, every population data since then (including the ones you are touting) are merely based on extrapolated guesstimation. At least not until another census is conducted will we have the latest numbers. In light of this simple fact, the only other data that comes close to giving a reliable ballpark estimate is the Telcos data. Comprende?? Dude, you're wearing out my brain. WTF??!! I'm done.

Yong man grow up. I am not for this. Is it that NPC and NBS also conspired to reduce Rivers Population?? Stop looking for cheap tribal escape route. The simple logic here is that a registration that allows registration is invalid to judge population, it is as simple as that. Otherwise tell us how FCT is higher than Rivers

Why would your brain wear out on simple logic, A system that does not restrict registration to only once, can it a valid estimate for population?? Extrapolation is a valid statistical tool, and that is why NBS was there in the first place
