Yeah,the manner of the Great Dayne's death is left to speculation. D & D felt he was stabbed at the back. I beg to differ. I feel he was killed using fishnet and frogspear.&

As for Mirri Maaz Duur,she had no intention of saving Khal Drogo.Remember that she told Dany that Drogo's khalsar killed her people and desecrated the temple of the Lamb god.She only appeared to help Drogo so that she could use blood magic to kill Rhaego and turn Drogo to a vegetable.

If the Dothraki had the backing of a few Westerosi,they stand a good chance of conquering Westeros.(Remember SmallJon's concern about a Jon Snow-led Wilding Host on the show) .Imagine Drogo's khalsar bent the knee to Dany.They might have been led by the likes of Ser Jorah and Ser Barristan (when he eventually joined Team Dragon Mama).Ser Barristan's name alone will flock many to Dany's cause...

She tried to save Drogo at first by making him a poultice and boiling wine to treat the wound. Drogo fell from his horse saying the wound burned and itches, he removed the poultice and then had other healers, not Mirri, treat him by putting bacteria infested mud on an open wound. By then Mirri left him to his fate. Mirri already figured he wasn't going to survive. She used this as an opportunity to betray Daenerys, preying preying on her ignorance by saying she could bring him back to life, and by so doing killing the Stallion that Mounts the World. At the end she told Dany, "Now you know what life is worth".

That "Sun rises in the west" statement Mirri made to Dany was it really a prophecy or just a figurative way of telling Dany what she wanted was impossible.Some people theorize that it's actually a prophecy:

We know that Drogo is dead and cremated so he can never be as he was. I think that this is a possible foreshadowing that Dany dies during childbirth and is reunited with Drogo in the Night Lands.

Orcs are themselves elves (or used to be) they are forces of nature whose sole purpose of existence is to kill and to destroy! A sort of ehm..........an ultimate killing machine of an army! Brainless, they are not either as they retain their previous intelligence and memory but due to their corrupted nature, they are repulsed by everything good and beautiful which they seek to destroy!

There's no shame in being killed by an orc!
