When Germany and Japan fell in the Second World War. This is what we are witnessing, it is okay and constitutional for a sitting president to go to United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York to advocate for the state of Palestine but it is not okay for people of the South East to advocate for biafra.

It is okay for a sitting president to advocate for the south Sahara Republic from Morocco but it is a treasonable offence for ipob to advocate for biafra.

It is fine for people to demonstrate solidarity for a sick Nigerian president in London but a crime for people to celebrate the inauguration of a living president in Washington .

He was pardoned and re-integrated into the system as a retired soldier under the same armed forces.
He was paid his full entitlement. All these were the outcomes of respect for civil authority, small fry.

The exact strategy of the Fulani hardliners under Buhari is to create such conditions to make Igbos declare Biafra prematurely and then they can use the opportunity to cut them to size using Nigerian army.
How vain and hollow they reason. In any case, even if Biafra is declared a second time, it will be impossible to conclude it on the terms of the first encounter, but that is discussion for another day.

Igbos should resist attempt to declare Biafra or at least not to declare prematurely. If IPOB wanted, it could adopt the ANC strategy of training guerillas somewhere and they come in for special missions. I would hope Nigeria stops toying with fire in the hope they can burn their own house and come out unscathed.
