It's very ironic how the hateful igbos quickly delight in a few Yoruba and Hausa casualties but only a few decades ago, they were the ones who were massacred in millions like vermin all across the country. They have never won a single inter-tribal battle in their existence, yet they keep making senseless noise all over. The joke's on you.

WORLDPEACE:

I blame Seun. He is too busy trying to make sure everyone gets the atheist gospel to realise that he is causing damage. He likes money too. You know senseless tribal fights bring him huge traffic and money. He can take his blood money and use it to win more souls to his atheist paradise. His atheist sense does not tell him that promoting hate can lead to the end of the humanity that he is trying to save.

Safe fire. He is only after traffic in order to make money. He always promote any tribal disagreement to front page without even confirming the authenticity and what lead to it not minding the aftermath.

Take a look at the MMM people. Yes their greed led them into looking for quick money which backfired. All seun and his Mods could do was to mock them to the extent that many died and countless lost their homes.

Take another look at the biafra struggle. Even though they claim that seccesionist post has been banned from nairaland, they still openly push this stories to front page when they know that the only thing that it results to is further damage to the already damaged tribal relations between Nigerians.

I'm just wondering what could have caused this "Hausa's are predominantly peaceful while Yoruba's are tolerant and never blood thirsty" only God knows what could have happened.

What if I told you the violence is not unconnected to dispute over a woman? Let's just observe as subsequent updates unfolds.

May peace be restored. May the fight be confined in that area alone. May it never escalate to other sides.

How many Igbos have killed fellow Igbos in Anambra state in the last 1 week alone? Is it okay when you kill each other but wrong when an outsider kill you?
If you ask me, I will say both killings are wrong. Life is sacrosanct. Most of these killings either through community clash or by a different tribe is as a result of the security lapse we have in the country. The Police must rise to the occasion to prevent these killings.

Hausas kill hausas and yorubas kill yorubas. same with igbos. did anyone say killing is okay

By the way, where does your distaste for Igbos stem from? You don't seem to display similar distaste for the people causing violence in your very homeland.

Cant remember igbos ever doing this sort of thing in the West. Correct me if I'm wrong

U beta stop it cos Ur brodas an sistas ar livin here in one area called SABON GARI in KANO
There Shops, Children, Churchs and houses.
Be warned!!!

Yorubas are not widely spread outside of their geopolitical zones like those igbos parasites. If like you're insinuating, hausas were to carryout reprisals on shops, children, churches, houses etc owned by Southerners in Sabon Gari, Sabon Birni, Sabo or No man's land or anywhere in Kano, probably 80% of the southerner victims there would be igbos. They are the ones that keep roaming in huge populations like vagabonds all over the country and even outside the shores. So, kindly appeal to your people to hold their peace and cease on retaliation. Enough igbos have been massacred like christmas chicken in this country already. Don't make suya out of them.

Trust me, if the situation is not quickly brought under control, those Ife boys will finish off all Hausa/Fulani in Ile Ife. I'm presently at Lagere in Ile Ife and I can tell you that those boys are ready for the night attacks which the Hausa/Fulanis are known for.

I'm presently online with some friends resident in Ife. They are saying the same thing. According to them, the security agents have zero idea of the hidden corners of Ife where these attacks would take place.

It's a pity that everything in Nigeria is tribalism and some shameless youths are throwing shade/having a field day that Hausa and yoruba clashed as they are even expecting the casualties to be more on Ife people.

I condemn the killing that have took place but the Hausa people really picked the wrong set of yoruba community to wreck havoc as the casualty figures on their side is very high. The number of corpses are more than five sef at the moment.

If anyone remember ife-modakeke fight, he/she will know that these set of yoruba guys got no joy. Anything violence, they escalate it to the fullest.

You don't have to suddenly develop Amnesia because you want the story to fit into a particular narrative of yours. This is where the distaste stem from.

3 Dead, 40 Vehicles Burnt As Yoruba, Igbos Clash in Lagos (photos)

Tuesday 17th May , 2016
The Summary

About 40 vehicles have been burnt in the clash between Yorubas and Igbos in Mushin area of Lagos as the army and police moved in to the quell the violence. Affected streets are Odushina, by Oloje; Dramola Street, Olapeju, Oshoro, Akinwunmi and Ladipo Market. Residents in the affected areas were said to have fled to avoid being caught in the mayhem.

The streets have been deserted as police and men of the OP-MESSA took over. An Armoured Personnel Carrier, APC, was cited in one of the streets. A police source said he counted 40 vehicles burnt and several others with broken screens. People have taken refuge in their houses as shops were hurriedly shut by their owners who fled to safety. Trouble started when one Agunleri, who is the Secretary of one of the market unions allegedly stormed an area where Yoruba traders were selling their wares and began to upturn the wares on the guise that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was coming to the area for a function and that there was need for the place to be cleaned up. One of the Yoruba traders, a male was said to have challenged him on why he was upturning their wares. He was alleged to have stabbed the Yoruba man in the process. A source said other Igbo traders were mobilized to the scene and allegedly attacked the Yoruba populace, burning vehicles and destroying properties. About 15 people were said to have been stabbed and rushed to the hospital for medical attention. An eyewitness confirmed that 3 people have been declared dead at about 8:30pm.

Oh Nigerians, we are one in respectful of our tribe

Big Lie!!

We are NOT one. The earlier we acknowledge this truth the better for us. If we realize that we are not one, we can now work on unity. But if we keep pretending that we are one, we won't see any need to work on unity since we pretend to be united already.

The first step in the solution pf a problem is the realization that there is a problem
