but you once posted a video on something similar what I'm not sure is if it was called naaqis that was why I put the meaning in parenthesis.

ok, Idgaam has 6 letters and these letters are divided into two, ينمو and لر , the former is called the huruf of idgaam naqis while the latter harfain idgaam kaamil.....does that ring a bell or I'm speaking Spanish?

The tajweed class is still going smoothly, Alhamdulillah (though laziness has hindered me over the past 3 days ). I'm presently memorising Surah Al-Balad.

Been striving to learn Arabiyya recently also. Even though it's still on an online platform for now (still it's best having a one-on-one class with a tutor).

May Allah make it easy for us all striving to gain knowledge.

My Quran ustasdh gave me assignment every day to pronounce 4 different alphabets every day so within 7days I would have pronounced all the 28 letters

He explained the stopping signs and how it's used

Knowing where to stop while reading long verses

Today's assignment:locate nun sakin and tanween, iqlab in suratul mulk to haqqa

when ending with taa marbuto ة it is read as if you have a ه sound, e.g لا اقسم بيوم القيٰمة will be read as "laa uqsimu biyawmil qiyamah" the sound of ه will be made manifest too.

and if its ء you read as if you put a sukoon on it, e.g شيء and note that it will be made manifest too.

and if it's fathatain, then it will be read as an alif with fatha, e.g الفافاً will be alfaafaa, not alfaafan.

I was thinking about opening a thread for forgotten sunnahs of the prophet (peace and blessing be upon him). But I am afraid it would get hijacked or people will start posting fabricated and weak hadiths.

I didn't mention this on the original thread because I am avoiding 'certain people'.

This part deals with how Allaah's(azza wa jal) name is pronounced when found in the Qur'an, hence the title.

When you a fatha or a dammah comes before the name Allaah, you pronounce Allaah with a "O-shaped" mouth, for example "قل هوَ ٱللّه أحد" will be pronounced as "Qul huwalloohu ahad" and "نصرُ ٱللّه وٱلفتح" will be pronounced as "nasrulloohi wal fath" but if it is kasra that comes before the name of Allaah, you pronounce the name with a "carpet-shaped" mouth, example is "فى دينِ ٱللّه أفواخًا" pronounced as "fi deenillaahi afwaaja"...

by the way you should ask Allaah to grant me beneficial knowledge, not just any knowledge, some people have knowledge but its not beneficial to the people nor to themwelves.

since it starts with "ah" sound, then thats an Alif, you read with a full mouth i mean O shaped mouth..... Allooh.
