lol dealt with the Original. I give you that they tried and finished some lovely stuffs like being able to dagger Elijah, kill flint other times they failed woefully especially when the meet the grand planner Klaus. Lack of experience and knowledge finished the Salvatore brothers.

1)They tried to stop klaus from using Jenna(elena's aunt) for the ritual to break his hybrid curse they failed miserably.

2)They tried to kill all Originals they suceeded in removing finn yes but other than that failure, Damon got introduced to Modern Vampire torturing and most of their weapons destroyed.

3)Bringing Michael to Mystic falls to kill klaus lol. That plan ended up in flames. They perhaps made klaus sweat sha.
Other minor ones too- The arc when their Mother linked them to kill them, The cure part. Compared to Marcel:

1)Ran the Mikaelsons off and took over New Orleans and able to keep himself secret yet leader over the City.

2)keep himself in good favour with the Strix and Mikaelsons. This needed serious thinking

3)Ending the power of the Mikaelsons in New Orleans.

damn....season premiere was wow... ''meet ur maker''...lol klaus sha...he still got his lines.... hayley was just badass... Wonder what hope was drawing... Episode was on point...cant wait for next week

Don't just compare my Marcel with the Salvatore brothers oooo. . Agreed.. Damon is somehow wise... But they are both affected by simple love to someone. . And empathy sometimes cloud their judgement... But Marcel is the king strategist... . He is like the devil himself

......Incapacitated or not, Klaus is still the King... Marcel can rot for all I care. Next episode will be blood rain ......I can't wait......

dude marcel rounded up new orleans witout the original serum, marcel infiltrated the streaks and still managed to become their leader, marcel resucued and still trained Davina as his. Marcel fought klaus tooth to tooth without the original serum, he was finally bitten by klaus. The salvatotre brother are just one big embarrassment, how they managed to still survive all through the season was a mystery, funny enough they both became human and one finally died. . Marcel was already a king before coming into the power to kill originals, they are still alive because marcel sees them as family and some how deep down klaus was able to convince him staying alive in pain is a faith worse than death.

Peeps Originals is back. Take a bow. Everything packed in one Episode - Action, Thriller, Drama, Bad ass lines. Man i hope all episodes are like this.

Who even makes such comparison between the Salvatore brothers and Marcel, I mean, I haven't really seen anyone who has really stood up to the Originals and lives to fight another day like Marcel,

In my opinion, I think the Salvatore brothers are weak and vulnerable because of their sentiments...though they are in a class of their own...but not when compared to Marcellus... The one guy the almighty Klaus hates and loves at the same time.

Marcel is far better than the Salvatore brothers especially Stefan...but to me,all of them are useless.if the originals family wanted to kill all of them,they would have done both since but killing both of them would make the film less interesting that's why Marcel and Salvatore brothers are alive though Stefan later die...I prefer Lucien to them,he is smarter and he is the one that create the originals serum

Intriguing episode. The anticipation for the next episode is extremely high. However we are back again and I expect the originals to be in charge again. Though I have a feeling something bigger than lucien or Marcel serum/linked ancestors is coming and I don't know the mikaelson will deal with me after they must have subdued Marcel which will be difficult. Nice episode once again

Yes marcel had Davina and Vincent, but those two are not even upto bunny's left hand when it comes to magic. The Bennet line has always been giving the original family problems for over a thousand years.

I just pray they don't kill the actions packed in The Originals by bringing in Caroline, I don't want her to make Klaus go soft or by creating a love triangle between Klaus and Alaric because that one no pass her power.

I am currently at New orleans . I beg the writer of this show not to destroy it like they did to the vampire diaries , so far this first episode is a bomb waiting to detonate .


I have so Much respect for Marcel l like the way he speaks, act ,I think he is a better leader than klaus ,more diplomatic in his handling . Klaus is just so violent .still a badass thought than marcel.

Yea when she visited, the Michelsons were asleep for 4 years then , "this week mark 5 years since the fall of the Michelsons" that means that was over a year ago before the awakening of the original family. So she returned to mystic falls.

Lol Really Marcel's rise to power was due to the strix and lucien, he only picked up the slack, he didnt create any great/grand plan to defeat the originals.

Ok, all i want to see is for marcel to beg for mercies on his knees crazy episode, Freya and hayley are growing on me small small sha..

i feel for marcel after 5 years of peace now there would be chaos amd strife. He should have ensured most of the originals died.

Finally... something to look forward to every week... I still haven't seen the last episode of TVD I downloaded..., don't wanna watch something that will just RUIN my day...

Originals Season Premier was nice, the originals are back and Operation rescue Nicklaus will be a go in the next episode...

Freya is a little annoying tho
