It's an over the counter oil. You need no prescription. You put three drops of it on a piece of tissue and place it near her to inhale it. I did mine when they were asleep. Here is what it looks like.

The sugar should work.

For the catarrh, just keep giving her vitamin c and make her warm baths, that should help.
Sometimes I give Atinuke pcm with the vitamin c and the nose stays dry all day.

We gave crayons to the children here and asked them "What do you call Mummy?". So they created this lovely sign. And the kids said that their Mummies were 10/10 in their eyes! So from Today all through Tuesday, please take 10% off our entire catalogue. Happy Mother's Day.

(Shout out to the Mums who also speak their language to their kids!! Can you identify which language each one is?)

Just make sure you take a breast pump with you and express while you are away at the usual times your baby would feed.
That way you avoid engorgement and also do not have a reduction in supply.

I hope you feel better soon .

Hello lovely mamas, pls assist me. I'm an ftm, its just me, hubby and baby o, no mum or mil to assist me here. Ds has very dry skin, I took him to the paediatrician and was told to use eucerin and bathe him with very little soap. I had already ordered for Cetaphil, I have bought the eucerin but plan to use the cetaphil when it finishes because the on the eucerin it says avoid contact with eyes and ds rubs his face and eyes a lot.

Please who has used Cetaphil baby wash and shampoo and Cetaphil moisturizing oil, is it very good for dry skin. We are in Alberta, Canada and the weather here is extremely dry.
My baby had all you mentioned plus more: dry skin, cradle cap that terrorized me (it was BAD!!!!), eela that scrapped all his hair, plus baby eczema (he will scratch and scratch!) What helped a bit was Aveeno Oatmeal bath (calmed his skin flares down a bit) and also Aquaphor.

But all these just kept his skin condition at bay, if I stop for one day or two, it will come back with a vengeance! At a point I got desperate and asked my sister to buy me agbo when she's coming to the US. I was that desperate. I don't give him to drink o. I just bathe him with it everyday. I don't towel him after and just slather on Aquaphor immediately and Before the water dries off his skin. And in two weeks his skin became clear! And I have even stopped using the steroids his ped prescribed him for his skin. If you have anybody coming from Naija just have them bring it for you and pray that the overzealous USCIS or what they call them in Canada don't seize it.

In the meantime you can buy the big tub of Aquaphor. I think it's $22USD on Amazon. Use it morning and night. Then stop bathing him everyday. Bathe him at most 3times a week. Cos bathing then all the time strips their already dry skin of the oils needed for moisturizing. His pediatrician told me to stop bathing him everyday. Get the Aveeno Oatmeal bath too and use it to make a paste and slather it in his skin before bath. Put some in his bath water too.

Thanks very much. I will get the Aveeno oatmeal bath. He also had a little cradle cap which I removed with vaseline and gentle brushing. He scratches alot too. I will also consider bathing him every other day.

I tried to wake him up he didn't answer. He usually doesn't do that sha, it only happened that night and the night before so I got worried

mitchyy:

That's almost 7hrs of sleep without feeding. In my opinion, a 5 weeks old baby shouldn't sleep that long without taking in food. I think you should always try to wake him up if its becoming a regular thing. He should feed at most every 3-4hours. More experienced mamas will shed more light
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by hunniesuzie: 1:42am On Mar 26, 2017
He refused oh. Change diaper, tickled his feet and chest he will open eye and close it again. He only did it for 2 nights and I observed it was the 2 nights he cried himself to sleep cos of colic. He's back to normal now. In fact his eyes are shining like torch

zaynie:

He's too young to sleep that long.
Did you put breast in his mouth and he refused?
But if this is the first time or afterwards he was awake for a longer while than usual, then it's fine. But if he is always sleep or feeling drowsy, you might want to let your Paed know at the 6th week postpartum clinic.

So I have been having some sorta stomach upset since yesterday evening, and I decided to carry myself to hospital this morning. The Dr sent me for a test and I ended up being diagnosed with Malaria.

The issue now is that he gave me an antimalaria drug called LUMERAX (artemether & Lumefantrine), and I just want to be sure that's its ok for me cos I'm still breastfeeding.
