Good morning gurus in the house, please I just filled and submitted ds 160 form for me, my wife and our babies but I made two mistakes on my wife form, first she schooled in Ghana and had visited Liberia in the last five years but I mistakenly tick no for her outside Nigeria visit, secondly she has a distance relative in US ( though we are not visiting anybody) I also ticked no for answer.
Please is there a way of correcting these mistakes after submmision?

@the bolded, has the form changed for FEMALES? Where in the world did you see that question while filling "her" form and then answered "NO"? Surprised though, change is permanent. Well, just fill out another form and use the new DS160 form number to book appointment if you haven't, and if you have, kindly do a DS160 form swap via the customer service unit of the embassy. They were just dashing blue paper yesterday as if they were doing blue paper promo.....I reluctantly stretched my hand to collect my share of the promo and all I got was a white paper........Forget self confidence or ties cos I listened to people's convo with the VO and when I thought they will get the visa, they were rejected.......Its is purely @ d discretion of the VO and grace of God. Will upload my transcript soonest

travel history and school attended applies to only male form. Sure u have a file copy, go thru it, u may have not made any mistake after all.

Good morning all, God Bless all the members of this wonderful forum, I have been preping myself by reading your posts for Two(2) months now, Please I have a question and need your assistance, My Wife & I are about applying for Visit Visa to the US and I have relative over there that is willing to help with an invitation based on this I need help on the following questions:

1. What are the information I need from her?
2. What her the things she is required to do?
3. Which is much better opting to stay in an hotel or staying with her and my Uncle.
4. What are the things that are required from me?
5. Which is much better using her as my sponsor or myself?

I am a marketing officer for a construction company, I didn't see marketing as one of the options as I was also warned not to pick engineering as an option. since I'm not an engineer. Kindly help as time don dey go already. Pls help

There is an option for others...click it, you will see where to describe your type of job.

I have an uncle (my dad younger brother) staying in Houston, Texas who is a citizen. He has been living there for over 30 years, is a pharmacist and has 2 hospitals where he employ workers to work for him. He is married to an American with kids and he said he wants me to come and stay for a visit because we have not really met. Now my question is this. What are the steps or procedure I am supposed to take for the visa application. Hope it would not take up to the end of the year. What are the chances I would get the USA visiting visa. I work with one of the federal ministries and hope to take my one month annual leave before the end of this year and it is the one month annual leave I plan to use for the journey.

I was granted my visa 2 days ago. The irony of it is that i was directed to the VO who had the record of refusing the most applicants. Well, I have these few tips for prospective visa applicants;

1. You have to be precise with your reason of visiting the states.
2. You have to explain what you do and job specifications.
3. Reply with confidence and sense of purpose.
4. Make sure you listen attentively to the questions being asked and give direct and brief replies, unless more details are required.
5.If you have left the shores of Nigeria before like I have, do state it and with duration.
6.Have faith and hope on God.

That's not impossible at all. But then its sad when you realise, he could have opened one in his community but the environment here is not encouraging at all, for such philanthropic work.

He and his family are Hoping to see me. To go for a visit for a month, during which things would be arranged to work in his hospital or any other place.
