First of all, congrats to you guys for making it to this stage. The good thing is that Your journey just started grin but you will be fine.

This is what the test is all about, The abstract is 12 questions for 12 mins and u just need to understand the basics of abstract reasoning test to scale through.

The personality test is about 100 questions, the strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, l agree, strongly disagree kind. You basically have around 40 mins to complete it. But I will advise you guys, the less time you spend on it, the better for you. It simply shows that you are being real. Extra tip, the personality test is looking out for the big Five Personality traits (Openness, conscientiousness, extraversion/extroversion, agreeableness and neuroticism), so make sure your answers portray such.

For the Abstract Reasoning, study everything you can lay your hands on. 12 mins might be short, but believe me, it will be a short hard 12 mins. You have the option to extend your time, but I wouldn't advise you to do that. Try your possible best to finish within time, if you can. But if can't, do what you have to do.

You probably have 2 weeks from now to complete the test. Don't wait until the last day before you write your test. If you can, do it within the first week of receiving the notice. From experience, "the earlier, the better".

On a final note, I wish you guys good luck. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

I hope this helps.

Cheers.

I have completed the test. it is about 12 questions (about shapes and figures) for 12 mins. if the time run out, you still can continue to answer the questions and the final time will be recorded.
After that you will have 99 personality questions, they are very easy to answer

Don't worry, go for the test

Good luck all

PNZD:
To the best of my Knowledge, this is not true.
They do give direct admission to international students. Although you have to be eligible to gain such. Their masters program is in two parts: taught and research. You can choose if you want to study for 1-yr, 18-months or 2years but I'm not sure this option covers all their Masters programmes.

Taught masters is made up of taught courses and may include a research project. You must have completed an undergraduate program from any recognized university with good grades. I read that some may require work experience so check the postgraduate site properly.

For a research masters, you must have completed a postgraduate diploma from the university or a postgraduate taught qualification from any recognized university and you will need a supervisor. I guess this is the origin of your question.

Please note that not all masters programme have these options.

My advice, go through the POSTGRADUATE website properly, both general and the departmental of your institution of interest. Also check the FAQs page of the proposed institution. If you still are not satisfied with the information, DO NOT HESITATE to contact the graduate studies secretary and postgraduate students information desk or however they call them. You can also ask them for information on supervisors. Best of luck.@pnzd, thanks for your informative post.I want to study in new Zealand for masters degree.I did history and international studies here in Nigeria and I'll be going for masters in either international relations or development studies.please is it possible for one to get full scholarship in new Zealand even if one should select the school that ranked low there?I v checked my course and found university of otago.can I get funding there relatively? I v downloaded there data base and currently developing a research proposal and looking for money to write ielts.my emphasis is on scholarship even if its full tuition waiver.do you think I stand a chance with a cgpa of 4.49 ?is it possible for something like direct PhD from bachelors there?I await your guide please.

I was surprised too, I spent 18 minutes, 22 seconds on the test.
Perhaps, the word "SIMPLE" is relative.
