I use a Sumec Firman 6.5kva generator bought about close to 2 yrs but not yet up to. Lately it has been giving me serious problem. The light fluctuates always. The generator technician has changed the AVR, and the carburrator and also adjusted the voltage of the gen but the only improvement is that the fluctuation has turned to a constant flicker, the voltage has refused to be steady.
I don't plug my deep freezer whenever I put on the gen for fear of damaging it but after about 3 days without light, I tried putting on the deep freezer while connected to a stabilizer and the deep freezer light and power indicator light was also flickering.
Pls what could be the problem and solution? Thanks

I think is novice that handles ur coil, rewinding coil is the best but this novice Eng do rubbish and many thinks buying new once is better, but if I tell u the the disadvantages of new coil, but I can't now.
what I will advise u is to get Belgium coil, I mean correct one oh.

just notice this brand of Generators Lotian, I have never herd of it, And I noticed its way cheaper than most brands. How good is it? Are they as good as Heir Thermocool? I mean are they genuine , with Copper Coil, or just another bad product from China?


With a budget of 100k, What Generator will you recommend between 2-3kva?

lutian is a good product, but is only in 2.5kva I do recommend for people, so do ahead and get the lutian

although have come across the lutian 10kva, but I believe is not up to 10kva, it will be around 7.5kva. Co's 10kva can't be sold for 400k

. . . It's your generator battery you need to replace. Had the same issue and enochgaga made me realise that the battery needed to be charged every 3months hence the battery charging cable that came in the box.

Have that replaced and follow the 3months recharge time and you should be fine.

Turns out the battery was not bad after all. I had it removed from the generator and had it charged for 4hrs using a battery charger 4 days ago, it has been working perfectly since that day. Saved myself the replacement money.
