Whether true or false, it was a stupid antics by the President's handlers. Anything short of a video interview or message would not fly irrespective of the language. The whole drama was just a replica of the controversial Yardua voice interview of 2010 that achieved nothing.

Once the president is fully fit, he will return and we shall all see him. Yesterday's message was a very silly and unnecessary game that portrays the President's handlers as incompetent and desperate.
