I throwway salute to all mamas in the house. How's the ministry going? *finally out of peeping mode* At work and a little bored, reminiscing about pregnancy days. So let me share some funny superstitious and weird beliefs
It was my birthday and I mostly do it at motherless homes. So this particular one, I decided to go to "Heart of Gold Children Hospice". Didn't really know the workings of the place. Went with friends and siblings (like 15) with gifts for the kids. Took pictures too and all.
To the main gist of the story, MIL
came visiting some days later and I showed her pics *that's me being excited oo* and gave her a full download of the place and the kids there. U needed to see MIL reaction (mind you, I was like 2 months gone)
MIL : did you attach pin to your navel?
ME : what for nah ?
MIL : Ganjababe has killed me oo, just know that if you bring a deformed baby to this aus, u caused it o. Is it a must to do your birthday in that place or don't you know one of the kids cud have entered your womb? Blah blah *come and see binding and casting*. Chai
ME : Mummy don't worry jhor, nothing would happen. I did it in good faith and no need to be dramatic
Bae and I had a good laff afterwards tho. All these mothers and their superstition.
P.S - I was scared for a while tho. Once dreamt I gave birth to an Albino later on in pregnancy. My baby came out perfect and that was the first thing I looked at immediately *smiles*

I'm waiting for the next season of Being Mary Jane, Scandal (I was screaming during the entire season finale) and Blackish please. I got tired of Suits after the season when Mike went to jail, also got tired of Power after season one, was only watching for Ghost's chest and I've moved on from that crush now I'm low on shows to watch while waiting for GOT currently watching The Handmaids tale - very disturbing lol. I'll try this Greenleaf this weekend and let you know

Labour pains scares me and am officially scared but trusting Allah (swt) for His divine Grace to pull through.

I dont know how people managed to watch Scandal till the end sha. It became such a drag. I was tired of Olivia's shenanigans coupled with the fact that I couldnt understand why Shonda was trying to make us accept adultery as a normal something.

Empire?? I'm giving you serious side eyes here. Cookie and Lyon's characters were soooo exagerrated. The only person that made me watch Season one sef was Jussie Smollet(Jamal?? I think). His voice is heavenly but I quickly got over him after learning he was gay .

Mary Jane is my biatcchhhh! Yassss! She snags all the yummy men and there is no shame in her game. Her and Kara are friendship goals. I sometimes call her an ashewo too in my head but she is my girl anytime.
