TIPS on sponsored UK visa application visit for a sporting event

Hello Experts

1: I am sponsoring a good friend to London for soccer trials
2: I have consistently paid her training and upkeep allowances since October 2016 till date N140,000 per month all in the narration of her bank statement
3: I have specified on her application forms that I will be sponsoring the trip, accommodation and upkeep.
4: before the application, I want to transfer at least N1million into his account being costs of travel tickets and other medical screening fees.

The event is for 5 days, please advise on anything I may be missing or would be good to do at this time. This is a first time traveler to the UK but has been to other European Countries

Any letter inviting your friend for trial, accommodation reservation, any document to show your friend is a sport person, my initial thoughts

Your passport will be available to you with 48 hours of decision made. If it is up to 48 go to the collection centre. You do not need tls to update or send u mail

Thank you. I got a mail from TLS this evening that the passports are ready for collection. I will pick it up tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about the sad outcome of your wife application. Like you right noted, using a dumb agent can be disastrous. With her travel history she won't have any problem on her next application if she can address the issues. Just gather all the nessary documents to show that she is self employed. This will include business registration certificate, tax clearance certificate, MOUs, company bank statement etc. On the other hand, the ECO knows that a lot of applicants now used group church conferences attendance to immigrate into UK. She just unfortunate to be considered in that light. My advise try again next year for a family vacation.
Ok, i will do just that. We have 2 kids who have always travel with her during vacations to Germany and US,But because this one is a church conference and her first UK application,We then decided to use my kids and me as strong home ties,But they still refused her. She will reapply next year insha Allahu.

Try again tomorrow, I guess you have exceeded your daily limit for online transactions.

shakespere:
Please has any one experienced this recently, I was making application payment for my family, I have made 5 out of 6, but the last one would not go, it kept saying insufficient funds or my card company refused the transaction even though I have over the 119 usd required. I paid in another 100 usd, and it is still same. Any idea what I can do? I have concluded application for everyone except my last daughter

If that trial is genuine the UK club will pay for everything, before you waste the visa application money do a research on this.

I will suggest that in your next UK visa application, if the kids are in school you can also get a letter from the school stating that they are students there and are permitted to go on a vacation with their parents to return to their studies at a certain date. Note that this will be more effective if the school is on vacation.

Good morning my people
I heard UK center in Victoria island now charge extra fees, how much exactly is it?
And I plan to visit the UK for Xmas and New Year, when is the best time to apply, as I've seen a requirement that says not more than three months from the day you're planning to travel, thank for your helpful responses.
PLS RESPOND!

- The TLS website states the VI Centre costs extra £55 more than the Ikeja centre

- A question for the gurus in the house: Does the VI Centre confer any advantages over the Ikeja TLS Centre to justify this additional fee paid at VI? I'm making a visa application Next Week and trying to decide where to submit it between Ikeja and VI
Thank you

Not much differences. The first link is the old system and the second link is the new system. I prefer the old one, as you can use if for multiple application with only one email address. Beside the old system is more user friendly.

Hello everyone. I have booked an appointment for July 12, 2017 to submit a UK visa application for an elderly woman. The appointment is for Ikeja. I have made the payment for the visa fee. I am trying to pay £184 for priority processing but I cant see where to make the payment online.

Please anyone who has paid the £184 for priority processing recently please let me know how and where you made the payment.

Thank you.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by nomad26: 9:57am On Jul 06, 2017
You can pay via the TLS website under the "Added Value Services" section.

I tried it last night. After clicking "Added Value Services", I selected "priority" which is £184 then I clicked "Add to Cart" and nothing happened. It does not respond and did not get to the stage where I can type the card details for payment. Maybe this £184 can be paid on the appointment date for submission. Can anyone confirm this?

Wow! Looks like you have a good case. Did you explain all these in your previous applications? I'm sure it's because of people like @solarium 's 3 friends grin that the rate of refusal is high.

Sorry about your situation. Stay hopeful, I wish you the best.

I was told to TB test. Which I have done today. Please what does That suggest please

Hello gurus in the house,

I intend traveling to the UK with an aunt of mine whose son will start his university programme in September, I'm currently working in a well known company here in Nigeria and my pay is around 130k presently to be increased by the end of this month to 180k. The problem now is there's no money in my account as a result of the cooperative I'm in. I pay part of my salary to the cooperative and use the rest for my upkeep. I'm suppose to withdraw my contribution my the end of September.

I'm thinking of making my aunt my sponsor, she has an oil and gas company so her account is tight.

I want you guys to please give me advice on how best to go about this. please I need your help

I still need your help guys, hope I haven't offended anyone here?

You should go to your bank and ask them to print out a statement of account for you, you might have to pay a small fee depending on the bank.

Thanks, it is not a premiership club trial. it is an event hosted for scouts and player managers to scout talent. Clubs rarely host trials these days.. they just scout players and move in when they have an interest. Thanks for the advice, i have already made losses on several fraudulent trials and i have learned my hard lessons. this one is legit

Hello everyone,
Is travel insurance necessary for 2years U.K. Visa application. I previously had a 6months visa .

Is Zenith insurance a credible travel insurer accepted by the Embassy?

Thank you all in advance

Hello guru's

I submitted/biometrics on 19th june and only just checked https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/app/visa_application today and discovered it has been DECIDED on 4th July (2 days ago). But TLS hasn't mailed me and when i check on their website it tracks as "Received by UKVI". Do I proceed and check at the Ikeja center tomorrow or it is too earl to go there.

OK, i guess you were badly advised to make those applications in the UK, coming back to Nigeria is a good idea though you should have done that earlier enough.

Fingers crossed your family circumstances will count on your favour and with no criminal record in the UK

You settlement visa has been accessed and there are 99% chances of you landing it any moment, what counted in your favor is the fact that they have encountered your previous applications filled in UK,just relax your nerves, pack your things and be ready to do thanksgiving....but you must bring kola to the floor ooo . All the best
