Even the 3750 toll money he paid was added as his income.

Uber people knows the new price won't work, that's the reason they keep bringing in different kind of promo.

If drivers are in one voice, they will be forced to offer something reasonable.
Exactly. What we are saying is for us all to have one voice. Go off uber for 48 hours and they will adjust. We are d engine room of uber.

We saw this in May when Uber reduced fares but some nonentities called us names.
If gazzuzz can put his cars on sale then what do you expect others to do.
All uber drivers are into slavery. See if uber reduces their fares again some people will continue to do it.

Uber does not lose they will always make their money which is forever non negotiable

One of my painful experience with Uber. I pick up a lady from Maryland to local Airport. With 45minutes to 1 hour traffic before getting there. Uber calculate fare at N285 at end of d trip, I was mad, to me it's like I bought N1000 fuel to make N285. The lady was so surprise and pitied me and gave me 1k because she knew d fare is very cheap and not worth d trip. Here is d screenshot

Uber is useless. One fool said he made 115k on uber last week. Let him do his plus and minus, remove fuel, remove uber 25 percent, u will not be left with 30k as profit. Even d riders say its too cheap so why is it taking uber too long to adjust. Its people like Romeo3 that's making uber doing this rubbish

If you use a car of 1.8 or 1.6ltr engine to do Uber, will it be ok and profitable?
I am thinking of starting with Hyundai accent 2008 model. I need advice guys.

Also I heard a driver can set location from driver's app to get him rider's request to a particular area of Lagos. Eg.. you are in Lekki and set your app to receive only request of a rider who's going to say Festac or Ikeja.
Guys I need valid clarification on all these. Thank you guys....

yes, it's very profitable. Are you driving yourself or using a driver? and yes, you can set destination trips to a particular location.

you cheated yourself in this case. It was a GPS error. U should have sent a message to UBER and they would tell you d actual amount and credit u with the remaining.

Very sorry to digress the thread, but it very important to sound an ALARM anywhere possible, as people are not aware.
Do NOT take CIPROTAB (Ciprofloxacin family), unless there is absolutely no other alternative. WHO has several recommended drugs that would cure typhoid.
It is a poison, and efforts have been made to ban it, but big pharmaceuticals keep frustrating the ban, by lobbying for Black box warnings.

There are horror stories online. The side effect occurs most of the time, sometimes well delayed(years). You may not know or have the side effect immediately, but most of the illness or complaints you have now, or years after, is because of the earlier Ciprotab use. Ciprotab is being used indiscriminately in large numbers in Nigeria.

The typhoid will go, but now or IN FUTURE, you may have headaches, nerve pain, locked fingers, breathing and muscle problems, regular fever, and could cause death.

There are several BLACK BOX WARNINGS on Ciprotab. Black box warnings are NOT side effect warnings. It is the strictest warning by the Food and Drug Admin, when there is reasonable evidence of an association of a serious hazard with a drug, that may immediately or much later lead to cause of death or serious injury.

https://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2015/07/23/devastating-and-surprising-side-effects-of-ciprofloxacin-cipro/

Health is Wealth, pls avoid ciprotab, if u can.

its best for UBER cos of the fuel consumption rate. But as per location setting, let me explain to u,how it works. Wen u are at lekki and u set ur destination to the mainland, u may be lucky to get a request to mainland but on the other hand, u can get a request to Victoria island from lekki...UBER would say its along the destination u set. Wenbu drop the person at victoria island, u may receive another request in Victoria island and the riders destination is idumota, its also a way to the mainland that u set. What I am trying to say in essence is that destination setting is a two way thing. U may be lucky that it comes directly, and on the other hand, it may come at a broken destination like I explained above.

This ain't matter of GPS error. Countless times things like this has occurred. Uber fares is Insanely low. If I start bombing this thread with instances like this with screenshot proofs. I don't think you would have any say. What of picking up someone from Magodo to Badary with 3K fuel, There was heavy traffic at Mile 2, festac, Agboju, iyana Oba, Volkswagen, trade fair, Lasu, Ojo, Okokomaiko. The fuel got depleted to reserve on arrival. At end of d trip Uber calculated d trip to 3000 Naira on 4 hours 30 minutes trip. I had to buy 3K fuel to go home without making any single profit. On a normal day yellow cab wld do 5k - 8k on badagry trip. I have been in d game for one month. Uber is not worth it for now. Except u drive your car yourself, but still not profitable enough.

I can't go on an Uber trip to Badagry. It's a total waste. Except of course you just want to go on an adventure.
For one, you can't get a trip there. It's not under the Uber service area.

I usually admonish drivers not to go on all trips.
Trips to Badagry for one would be an off Uber thing.

2 weeks ago, I did an offline trip from Yaba to Badagry and charged N30,000. Though I slept over, dinner and next breakfast was catered for. My accommodation was supposed to be part of the deal but was waived. I slept in the car

Another thing is it could be your.phone. what kind of phone do you use.

During Taxify training, we were made to understand that they removed some phone models from thier recommended list because they reportedly had flaws when calculating distance with GPS. Hence, price

NB : It could be in your favor and against the riders or vice versa.
So you might want to check your phone

Why did u take mile 2 from magodo? U should have taken Alausa to Ikeja to egbeda to igando to igboelerin to badagry. Very short journey. U took a long distance with heavy traffic.
