Ned in his POV in the books says he never thought of Rhaegar as a man who frquented brothels and that says alot.

Cersei even said that during the tournament at Harrenhal, the small folk cheered for Rhaegar than anyone else. Including her own father Tywin.

The only characters who have something foul to say about the guy had personal hate for him.
I believed he was loved by all to the point that even the Mad King(his father) felt threatened by him.

For Stannis's memory till someone else comes to claim it, by force or by reasoning. The reason for this arguement is that Dany just strolls into Dragonstone. Dragonstone is a strong castle, and shouldn't be left unmanned. They could atleast show us people in Dragonstone ushering Dany in, since Stannis is dead.

Exactly, one thing i noticed is the connection between them, they suddenly clicked with her and even offer her the first bite of the roasted meat and when she told them she wants to kill the queen, they paused and laugh but as time goes they will start beleiving in her and yea we will be hearing more victory songs from ED. I just feel whoever gets the throne will do that with the help of Arya, and just like hope in the originals, arya is actually now the most powerful and dangerous human in the whole of the seven kingdoms even without huge armies of hers. her fighting abilities and changing of face thing can make her take anybody including mother of dragons.

I personally don't think Arya will end up killing Cersei. It's too 'happy' an ending for Game of Thrones. I have a feeling she might die in the attempt.

I also think Ed is simply a cameo. I don't believe there was any deeper meaning to his scene apart from portraying that Lannisters are humans too.

And finally, I feel there should have been a garrison left at Dragonstone, no matter how small. That's not good war strategy, not having a place to retreat to. Was he gonna run back to the wall? Anyway, Stannis sometimes appeared rash in his decisions. Were there only men at Dragonstone? No washerwomen or anything?

Yes he was all goody goody two shoes until he crowned lyanna stark queen of love and beauty at harrenhal in the presence of all the gentry of the realm irrespective of whose ox was gored and all that followed as they say is history on Ned's POV, aren't we saying the same thing?

Barristen selmy was kings guard, of course he would murder a suckling infant on rhaegar's orders and rationalize it as being necessary for the realm, his oath commands that of him i.e see no evil! Unlike Jamie who saw and recognized the evil for what it was and coped by daydreaming about screwing cersei until he did something about it and in the process broke his oath and yet people call him a bad guy! purrrrlleeeeeeaaazzzz selmy saw no evil while the red keep itself was sh**t deep in it! And don't tell me he knew rhaegar did it for an altruistic purpose! Ser Arthur dayne was rhaegars confidant, not him.

Cersei was told a prophecy when she was little that her younger brother will kill her. She still thinks it Tyrion, hence why she's weary of him but I feel it will be Jamie.
