I actually felt the same way after i watched the 1st and 2nd season, i was like what was the hype about, in fact i abandoned watching it, when i had nothing else to watch again i went back to it cos i had it till season 5 and that was when the story started picking up and i enjoyed every bit of it, following it religiously now. Try and watch the rest seasons and you will see what the hype is about

I never watched past Game of Thrones, Season 1, Episode 1. I couldn't deal!

How to get away with murder, I think I finished season 1, and dint continue. But I watched a late episode, where that black guy died.

Scandal, I never watched past Season 1 too

Suits, I think I stopped at Season 1, Episode 2 or 3.

I haven't seen Power. May try to see it, if I get a good review, and hope its not overhyped.


But the only series, I have watched, and rewatched over and over again, 3 times now, is 24 Hours. From Season 1 to 9.
I love that series so much. Maybe because it's my kind of thing. I've learnt so much from that series.

Been so busy lately, else would continue where I stopped. Someone asked if you have 1hour extra a day, what would do? I said I'd sleep or watch 24. That's how much, I'm in sync with that series.

Omo Games of Throne was really overhyped, i couldn't even bear myself to finish the first season. The s3x scene was drab. Imdb ratings can be misleading at times.

But Suits is not overrated at all, it a very nice series, i really enjoyed it

And you are racist. Do I watch a show like "Suits" purely because the smartest lawyer (Jessica Pearson) on the show is black, or because I find ALL the characters compelling and the plot line intriguing? Obviously I watch for the latter reason.
The majority of the screen writeers, script writers, casting directors, etc on practically all of these shows are white so going by your criteria, we shouldn't even be watching any of them.
Perhaps you should stick with Jennifer's Diary.
