I've been in denial, but I think I should just come to term with the fact that Jahtell is the best female vocalist in this competition! She really owned the stage last night! She just sang like all these black Americans in some Baptist Church, and I consider them the best singers in the world grin

lol.... She did well. Idyl also did well. I hope people vote for him. I will most definitely vote for him. I'll really hate to see him leave the show.
I'll vote for Area too, mostly because of sentiment sha.
Please, who did Patoranking save from yesterday's performance? It was omitted on the website. I guess it was an error.

Michael Jackson?of all the musicians in the world. Theres a reason people hardly sing M.J' s songs on music shows. Syemca shouldn't be choosing songs because he likes them. Yimika was very smart, choosing 'Sade'.
Seriously, I don't understand. You have the chance to choose your songs, choose songs that you can kill effortlessly, songs that will make you 'shine'.

Whatsup with Timi and "sing up"

Team Pato are always the least performed every night. I'm pretty sure his team would be the least placed at the finals. IDYL & Majeeka were superb last night, hope they scale through. Arewa also deserves to be saved tho I also enjoyed Joy's performance.
I thought Daniel's performance was better than Yimika's...I hope he scales thru.
How I wish Jahtell & Precious can battle: two strongholds...would be epic to watch

Daniel sang more than Yimika?, hope u are not Daniel?, Daniel is a beautiful singer, but has issues with d high notes, and mostly avoids it because he cracks there probably due to previous voice overuse. I think Kendris should be shown d way out, his inconsistency is way too obvious. I am glad Wow was saved.

Finally una send Jahnomso go back house. It's not fair.

Wilson and Jahtell did it fr me.i don't knw if it's my speaker but d lives performances are wack.d judges are too dumb to critique them.ayam not understanding.pls nobody shud try hype precious here cos to me,he is usually flat n sings wit chest.Arewa is trying too hard, she is a gud n confident singer but all i see is someone afraid of failing thereby setting herself up fr a fall.she shud relax more.worthy of mention are glowrie,Bada,Idyl,They have been consistent.

take it or leave it, even john legend sings with the chest voice most times,, he his just afraid he might loose his voice texture if he uses his mixed voice.
Have been there I know what Iam saying. he's a very good singer

He s a very good singer but yet to reach his full potential. He actually needs someone like Uncle Ben that would be objective in their criticism.

he needs miss Ige, she is the voice coach, uncle Ben mostly focuses on musicianship, ige can teach him the placements for a perfect mix

Abeg jooor. She was belching too much. And she was also nervous. My opinion, she's overrated.

Belting too much? I thought she did it at the appropriate time tho'. I honestly don't see reasons why Arewa should be nervous, this is not her first time doing this stuff, her confidence is so high and like someone earlier said, that might be her downfall even though I don't really agree..

She's not overrated, she is one of the best female vocalist on the show.

Yeaa, very true about Daniel! I didn't really hear him crack because the instruments were quite loud at those points, but I knew he really struggled at those high notes.

something I noticed about the coaches is that, they keep their opinions to themselves , clearly a lot of performances are under par but they keep saying "...good performance..." and the like.

i think the coaches selected the songs for them , it's the only thing that makes sense.

as regards not giving constructive criticisms, i think its because they're not actually judges per se so its understandable if they choose to refrain from criticizing them on stage, they would be doing the contestants a huge disservice if they don't tell them the truth behind the scenes though. its like how faculty members on project fame don't criticize on stage , but back in the academy we all know how uncle ben can be.

I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks that these contestants need a dance and choreography instructor(s). I don't know if they have but if they do, the person isn't doing a good job. The contestants aren't delivering performance - wise and I think that's why a lot of the performances have been boring.

I think Darey was handling their stage performance. Well, I think their stage performance has been quite okay, except for some few.

Ye, ur right. Its d house style of "The Voice" to be easy On contetants when it comes to critique. Take d US version , for instance. Ud never hear Blake or Adam slam an act for not bringing it. Same with d UK or filipino version.Dats the main thing bout The Voice that doesn't seat well with me. But u know naija will always overdo.
Jus like theyv been overdoing the whole "coach banter" thing Blake and Adam are renowned for. Theirs is so cringe-worthy.
