Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by hunniesuzie: 12:16pm On Sep 08, 2017
Put the items inside, put the water up to the line (200mls) put in the microwave and leave for 4 mins. That's it. Leave like that till you want to use the bottles/items

Your baby is still 1 week old, too early for a pattern. Let her sleep and eat as she pleases, as she grows she'll work herself out

goodfortun:

Can you please school me on the use of the steam sterilizer? Haven't unpacked it yet. It seems so complicated. Thanks

Thank God for her. SMA Gold 2 should be taken as formula. You can also buy Cerelac, Nutribom and Gerber cereals.

Hey dear, the grunting thing is still there. Momcy got one agbo they call inu-eda (sp)?? But we haven't given it to her cos hubby will hear none of it but I think she sneakily gives it to her even when I'm not looking because my baby's sleep has been grunt/groaning free for 3 nights now, even hubby made a comment about it. I asked my mom if she has noticed that the grunt has reduced and her only was ehn ehn grin grin

eksbabe:
Hello spiceeamiee, how is your DD now? My son also had that grunting thing for a while and i think it was colic. He would struggle to release gas and infact for 2 straight nights he didnt sleep. He would cry, feed, play, cry again and even the almighty breast could not soothe him. I got infacol, i dont know if it worked but just to satisfy my sister-in-law( since there wasno side effects to it). It kinda stopped and resurfaced again 2 days ago but i try not be bothered about it since it is a phase that will definitely end. Dont worry ehnn, ur dd can withstand the pain, it is part of growing and she'll be fine in no time

I have used Nan for my baby since day 2, he's 6 months old and it's worked well for us. SMA Gold is also good. Those are the 2 I'm familiar with

TashaStPatrik:
Mamas good evening. Plz help!! My 5weeks old baby never seems to be satisfied. She can suck for Africa, untop that one, my mom suggested Abidec for "strong bones and digestion" according to mama. With that, the sucking has increased by 20degrees.. My breast is almost as flat as the ground. Am thinking of introducing her to formular. Plz I need help on what to do or how to take care of this situation. Biko Biko I need advice from fellow young/new moms. For the sake of my boobs.. God bless you as you speak.

Lol, my mum also brought ogiri oil for us that we used for my baby while she was here. But the day she left, i gave my baby and the boy choked on it seriously that we rushed him to the hospital(naive parent tins). Hospital now gave us one therapeutic bla bla i have forgotten the big name sef (sure they did it deliberately to confuse us cuz i kept asking for the name) and use us to collect money that night but we didnt use it sha. Since then we stopped using anything oo and allow nature take its course. I have kept the ogiri for my mum she said she will coman carry it cheesy

Your last sentence got me cheesy. I also feel like my boobs are flat sometimes. Are you lactacting well? My baby also sucks non-stop when he is not getting enough milk, he'll just keep holding onto the boobs waiting for the milk to come out well and when it doesnt, he keeps crying. I figured the reason milk wasnt coming out well was because i wasnt eating well, so i upped my food intake and we are good.

good afternoon mamas. pls help a ftm.my baby sucks a lot lately and I try to express sometimes so he sleeps longer.I use a stainless cup and spoon but of late I discovered that the cup has rust despite keeping it clean and since I don't use it all the time,I decided to get a plastic cup which Is free from rust. but I remember been told in the hospital not to use plastic cup as it is not good for the baby.he is 2months old. should I use the plastic cup or still get another stainless cup. pls don't read and pass.

When this happened with my baby, she developed actual cartarrh a few days later so you may need to be proactive and give him Vit C

Where were you last week before I went to my tailor and she wanted to cut my neck? embarassed. Not to derail but please can anyone recommend a good tailor in Lagos that does not charge more than 12k to make a good skirt and blouse? My tailor recently upped her price to 18k and I know I'm not about that life now. Anywhere in Lagos is cool provided the person does a really good job. Suggestions are welcome

Godmother:

Please mommas, how do I get baby to eat more and sleep more? He's a week old and the only time he sleeps long is after a bath. He eats; dozes for some minutes; starts crying again den eats again and the cycle continues, how do we establish a rhythm? He's awake most of the night and asleep some part of the day. We're breastfeeding but with water and formula when I'm too tired to breastfeed @night.

happy to formally join you here. Baby is 1week old tomorrow!

My baby was like this his first few weeks but now he's a changed person grin i wake him up to eat some sometimes sef. U know what just enjoy(endure) for now, he'll change pretty soon
