Another factor to consider, if one NOC was removed, would her CRS score fall below her ITA's draw? If No, the VO might have removed the lesser one (in years) and went with the other since she was still above her ITA's draw.

Yeah.. Great, I got the real definition of it now, it suits our concern. First Job roles ended Oct 2015, second role started Nov 2015-present. This Nov will make it two years on the latter. Same work place, related occupation.

Again, do u think sb can get ITA in Oct or Nov but submit eAPR in mid Dec 2017 or Jan 2018, just because they needed the second work reference letter to have early December as its date?

"At a stretch" is the best phrase that I could use to describe it, maybe it didn't convey my intended message.

Importantly, check the job description as captured on the reference letters to see if the two job functions are actually related. That is the real key to determining the NOC, not the job designation.

You may need to top up. Most of these USD cards require a min of 50$ to be left on the card at all times. Also assuming you have access to all of the funds, it gives an exchange rate of around 0.82 usd to 1 cad. Current rate is 0.8, but our local banks usually charge up to 0.04 above official rates so to be on the safe side make sure you have at least 0.86 times 2080 plus 50$ and may be even 20 to 50$ extra to be on the safe side. That said, $1850 should be about fine. I had same issue when i tried paying with my first bank dollar card.

I was referring to related job functions, not related NOCs. The former can fall under one NOC.

The image below from IRCC might cover this. It refers to how applications are accessed for eligibility. In summary, it says your documents would be used to check your scores on the date of your ITA and cross refrenced to confirm same at time of e-APR. As long as both results are higher than the lowest score in your draw, you may be deemed eligible. So in this case, if VO recalculates and any of these scores drop below the minimum in the draw of your ITA, there might be a problem.

The tweet emphasize the fact that you can only use one NOC to claim the maximum 3 years experience "at a stretch" under EE. Please confirm that in your case, one of the NOCs is up to 3 years.

CIC site says it's only one NOC, though it could be different companies. That's the same thing they confirmed in the tweet. I'd appreciate if she could throw more light on those different NOCs and their respective years.

yes,maybe your job functions were related. For instance if I was a database administrator in a bank and later moved to a full IT consulting organization as an IT specialist, its obvious that my roles are in different NOCs but in the same profession, so yes it will fly.

But for someone who was a teacher and now a banker for instance, this wouldn't apply. I stand to be corrected though.

I don't think this is correct. Different NOCs = different jobs, actually. I don't agree with "related job functions". I may be wrong though.

My friend's husband had this. I believe he studied at Ife (or was it UI?). Anyway, he went to the school and met a woman. He told her that WES said they had sent the school a mail for verification. She said, "what is your name and arrand wish time?" and he told her when he guessed the mail would have been sent. She looked on a computer, through an inbox, then said, "ah! I have found it!" And then she replied and that was it!

This is what I was told happened. I hope it helps. In summary, I think you may need to pay a visit to the school asap.

Most folks need the three years, hence the back and forth.

My work experience had to be 3 years for me to get max points. First NOC was in banking (1.5 yrs) then second was as an oil/gas field engineer (2.5 yrs). The koko is that whatever u use as PRIMARY NOC in ur application must exceed one year. Every other experience will count towards the 3 yrs u are targeting, even 6 months experience in a job.
