When i wanted to get the redmi note 4, the camera discouraged me due to the controversial comparism but i went ahead to get it coz of some other features it has nd thought of using camera apps to complement the camera just incase it isnt good enough for me.

But the camera beat my expectation on getting the phone nd I wnt evn need the beauty apps after all

I can perceive ur being bias, by going out with your CX and abandoning ur RN4 in the office showcase and confirms my belief and hypothesis that you disproportionately pay less attention to your RN4, because u have a stronger and emotionally inclined attachment to ur CX . So, I'd say in my opinion, after all said and done, I choose the CX as far as camera functionality is concerned.

Yes, the note 4 has this colour detail-ish about it, but it kyna makes the image dull.
There's this conservative feel, whereas, the CX adds more life and buoy to the photography.

You mentioned something about the clarity of the sky, and that's how I know that Note 4 Overcancels exposure to light rays, because in the picture I posted here, it would seem like it was going to rain at the time. But in reality, the sky was sunny, like you can't look up without feeling direct sun rays impact your eyes, but the note 4 did not depict.

About the megpixels, I did not say anywhere that CX should have a better cam, instead, what I said was that "specs wise" the MP of CX is greater than that of Note 4.

I have used a 2MP iphone front camera in broad dayight and I was amazed at the output quality.

I have complained on the overexposure ish on CX, but that not withstanding, I appreciate it for its vivid imagery.

Let's just accept that both cameras do have their apparent flaws and strengths.
So it's simple. if you love colors in a flamboyant, more expressive way, CX does it.
But if you love colours in a conservative manner, Note 4 kills it.

I had hoped that would be the case, but from my experience, and honestly speaking? it's not.

You actually insinuated that higher megapixel is better. Also, dont say a lens is superior/higher/of better specs when compared to another by looking at the MEGAPIXELS, its almost like those who thing a processor has better specs than another because it has more cores or higher clock speed. Without checking, am almost certain the lens of the Redmi is superior and even more expensive than that used for the Camon.

In this case, it is not about personal preference, that you like sugar doesn't mean its better than honey , no matter what you say, from the shots, the Redmi has more colour, more details, and is better exposed, what else do we need from a camera? The only thing the camon has is exposure, and its a bit overexposed, especially outdoors.
