Try to take your mind off it and concentrate on things you can do now to make your relocation to Canada smoother when you eventually get the PPR. I guess it is more worrisome now that applications are processed faster.
Lordnath:

Today marks 80 days in NA2. I'm tired mehn, tired of analysing cases on immitracker just to determine possible PPR date. So I decided to take a 'siddon look' approach and focus instead on my travel plans.

Let them take their time in Trafalgar Square...when it exceeds normal processing timeframe, I'll bring down their door.
Good luck all London crew and all the best with travel plans.

Make una forget this Twitter handle handlers.. They are not VOs.

@cochtrane, thanks for your contribution on this topic. I hold the same opinion with you but this recent reply(find attached from 6days ago) I got from tweeting at IRCC is casting doubt on that opinion. Of course they(IRCC twitter handler) can make mistakes while giving answers to queries too which could be misleading to applicants. That’s why I’m keen on contributions from anyone in the house who has combined different NOCs before to clear the smoke. This will be very much appreciated.

You still have to consider also that, sometimes when you withdraw an application, it returns and counts to you as a REFUSAL(read this somewhere on NL). I think it has to do with how long since its been submitted or something like that. Well, I don't think you should mind withdrawing your application still though, but I'd suggest after eAPR or AOR. No other reason than, incase the withdrawals comes as a refusal, you won't have to fill it in your PR application. Make sense?

Oh! really? If that is the case then we have to take caution.

Operational risk Mgt is quite hard to get but depending on what area of Credit Risk Management you work in, you may want to check Credit Manager title under NOC 0122 if you perform or performed credit analysis functions. That is what I am using as primary NOC, although I currently work in Operational Risk.

Thank you so much. I think I would also have to go with the Credit analysis in 0122 since I have worked in that department before.

Hello @GlitteringStar @dupyshoo @hephgirl

find below screenshot!!!
I didnt get any point for adaptability though but you can help scan through!!!

Thank you

GlitteringStar:

Are you sure you didn't get points for adaptability also? You might become ineligible if the additional 5 points was added to your FSW points to make you eligible for the program.

You still ave to cancel the TRV. Because for visiting, you are to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you don't have intention to stay back, that you are retuning to your country after the visit. Now that u have an ITA, that clearly negates ur intent because it means you have plans to permanently live in Canada. Based on ur dual (contradicting) intentions, ur TRV is likely to be rejected. So it's best you cancel it yourself. Hope I'm clear enough.

You are right, my study visa was rejected based on purpose of visit, I think the VO saw my EE application and just decided to reject it. Don’t really think this dual stuff works.

Yes. Very sure. E.g, if medical date is today 18/10/2017 and ur passport is expiring say next year June, your expected landing date and that will be stated on your COPR will be June 2018 as against October 2018 when ur medical is supposed to be 1yr.

It might not even be the principal applicant's passport sef. It could be the spouse or any of the kids. Once any member of the family has a shorter passport expiration date compared to the 1yr medical, its d expiration date dey will stamp every member of that family.

Hello Sleekysilk,
I just want to confirm if you are sure that even if the validity of the passport is less than 6months , CIC can still go ahead to stamp the COPR? Mine expires soon.... next year

einsteino how were you able to include/send the the WES evaluation form for UNN to dispatch along withyour transcript to WES, since you applied online?

I have applied online but I don't know how I can include/send the WES evaluation form to UNN to include in transcript since I am not residing in Enugu?

you actually do not need to include it, i didnt include it in mine.

I am not sure they will reject the TRV application jsut because of ITA? It might not make sense to have TRV if he/she does not have plans to travel to Canada before PPR. If he/she however has plans to do something very important in Canada, say to write professional exams before PPR, then I believe he/she should still be able to use the TRV. It is not all applications that are processed within 3 months. Some people even wait for over a year.

@Madcow, you can read this link below for more information about having dual intents.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/dual.asp
Thanks my able senior. You're right with the 'something very important' part. @Madcow, go thru the link and get
the information you require. But your purpose of visit needs to be really convincing.

If the validity of the passport is less than 6months at the time the VO is ready to issue your immigrant visa plus COPR, I want to believe u will get an ADR to upload a new passport. So once you have less than 6months and you are yet to get PPR, just go and renew ur passport. You may decide to raise a CSE or wait for ADR.

Yeeee pa! ITA o!!!!!!! And i'm on 433. embarassed embarassed embarassed

As in ehn This is strange oh...Tread cautiously. I see there might be an issue when your application goes through the A11.2 checks. they will check your CRS against the ITA issuance date and cut-off for the draw in particular and use that to determine your eligibility. I can't tell whether they will pass your application or not but if it is a system error or something weird....IRCC will act accordingly. Cheers!!

Hi Eisteino,

Do you think it is a good idea to pay for both transcript and verification at once on the UNN itranscript portal.
Secondly, what email address of WES did you provide on the portal as it's part of the requirement.

Thanks.

don't try that. Your money fit enter voicemail. wait till WES notifies you that they have sent the verification to UNN, before you proceed to pay for verification. At all times, ensure you indicate your WES reference number! very important, be it for UNN itranscript portal or iVerification portal.

as for email address.. inshort I think I would come back to this, would post a detailed narrative(hopefully with screenshots) on how to go about UNN iverification for WES cos it is quite easy to miss the vitals.

so long as you've not passed your $1000 dollar limit, you can use your GTB naira card for online transactions. Just disregard the part stating you should put in your credit card details.

i paid for a friend using my naira card as well in august. cost 71k

grin grin grin

Okay! Let me explain.

You need to read page 0 of this thread to know more about the whole process. However, the summary is that the whole process is in two stages. The first thing to do is to determine your eligibility. To be eligible, one must score a minimum of 67 points out of 100 points. Use the Come to Canada tool to check if you are eligible. You will get additional 5 points for adaptability if you have a relative (PR/Citizen) who is living in Canada under this first stage. The second stage is where you are ranked based on your CRS score.

If you are not eligible, then you cannot proceed to stage 2.

Therefore, you need to check if you didn't get points for adaptability because you might become ineligible after removing your uncle if the additional 5 points was added to your FSW points to make you eligible for the program.

I hope you are no longer confused. wink smiley
