Good morning people! please I am currently applying to a school in Nova Scotia but I just heard racism is high in this province. please i'd love to ask if anyone has an idea of how it's like to school in Nova Scotia and if it's advisable to school and work there.

Racism is real everywhere, not only in Nova Scotia. You just got have a high sense of self esteem and go about your life demonstrating integrity and honesty, they will come around. Many of these racist people have never seen black people, so are operating on stereotype about blacks, especially Nigerians. One approcrypal source making its round over the Internet some time back, carried that Trump said Africans are lazy and do not know how to do anything, but steal, eat and make love. I liked the way the African, especially Nigerian community rose up in collective righteous rage to denounce that perception.

You are going to be the only or first black person these racist people will see, so it becomes incumbent upon you to change their perception. Don't be afraid to go anywhere with God on your side, who can be against you?

Hello everyone

I have been struggling to get admission for Masters program in Canadian universities for long now. I graduated with CGPA of 4.42. I wonder why I've not been able to get someone to supervise me. It's really getting me frustrated. Makes me feel very deficient. I seriously need help.

Should be easy if you know how to write a thesis proposal or statement of intent well. You have a good GPA and that is already half of the work done.

Hi guys, with a heavy heart, I write this. I applied for MA peacebuilding and collaborative development at Canadian Mennonite University, being that their application fee is 150 CAD, my naira debit card couldn't pay. I requested for application fee payment help in the part 12 of this thread, on the 25th of June precisely. One igeoluwatobi send me a dm asking me if still needed the help, with all pleasure, I said yes. I gave him my details, he paid for the application and forwarded the receipt to me while I transferred the naira equivalent to the gtbank he provided. I was so happy, ignorant of the fact that I was sitting on a gunpowder.
As God would have it, I was considered for admission on the 11th of October with the necessary documents for visa application sent to me.
Just yesterday 20th Oct , I got a mail from the school stating that my admission has been revoked, reason being that I paid for my application with a fraudulent card and that I can't be considered for admission into the school again.
In the most practical terms, I'm very weak right now. Although I've responded to the school yesterday, with the screenshots of my chats with the devil(igeoluwatobi) and also the payment receipt of the naira equivalent to his gtb account.
I'm still very weak as I don't know how this event would turn out considering the fact that fraudulent activities in Canada is heavily frowned upon.
Have anyone experienced this, and how do I go around this issue.
All suggestions would be welcome.
As for you Igeoluwatobi, I know you're seeing this message, you've refused to respond to my chats. Thanks for putting me in this predicament. God bless!!

With a heavy heart? Easy man! I thought I was about to read an obituary. Sorry about the mishap and experience with a shady character. Explain to the school the happening. Obtain a police report of you can or swear an affidavit, you should be good to be reinstated!

My blood is hot now oh. Imagine I checked my CIC account last on Tuesday 17 October and decided to check this morning before going to church to properly direct my prayer points and saw this:
Medical: You passed the medicals
Eligibility: We reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirement.

Join me in prayers, Passport request is coming this week in Jesus name! Amen.

Hello gurus.. Una good evening...

I have BSc in Microbiology, i applied for MSc In Microbiology and related field in about 4 schools in Canada and got rejected in all. UBC, U of Manitoba, McGill and Uwo... I am damn tired and confused... They are really making me feel bad...

What do you think i can do?

Please i need Good advice and serious mentorship please?

Do you know of any Sch that take Nigerians easily or do you have a secret method few people know about?

Or do you have anything.. Just advice me.

NB: I have a CGPA greater than 4.45, TOEFL result of 84 /120. And some school request i find supervisor but not all for Msc.

Thanks in anticipation Gurus.

You applying to some pretty tough schools to get into and a competitive program. Try and apply to a few schools with lower and middle ranking. McGill and UBC are probably the Ivy Leagues of Canada.

Send an email to info@efccnigeria.org of the complaint with the full details of the act,his phone and account numbers. If your cannot send the email write even if a one page petition and drop of at their office, they will acknowledge a copy for you or print the email you sent, then go to swear a general affidavit indicating u meet him online here and the payments u made. attach both evidence of the payment and scan affidavit, include in it u have reported him to the antigraft agency and communication and petiton copy of fraud to efcc scan and send to the school, if there was a message of the card reject you got while trying before you got to him still include it then post the hard copy.
This might save you.
And guys stop following short cuts,go and open a dorm account or meet who you are paying in person. Aside the fraudulent part transactions have continued to recieve higher regulations mostly when they are from 3rd parties to avoid money laundering. These short cuts and things that seem to good doesn't end well most times
thanks bro. Will do that tomorrow

Hey guys. When filling your TRV form there is a part that says you should state how much it'll cost you to Study in canada. My application letter says $14000 CAD for Tuition and $11000 CAD for room and board. Do i need to fill anything in the part that says "OTHER"?.

Thanks in advance for the prompt reply.

Upfront medicals.

The miracle here is that I applied 18 August, 2017 whereas I did that medical 18th August, 2016 before applying for my previous app.

I call forth my PPR letter now in Jesus name; Amen.

No discrimination. No school accepts Nigerians more. But there are a lot of Nigerians at the University of Saskatchewan. I think only one school in the entire Canada that I have seen that singles Nigerians out by name to take TOEFL. You have to do your research, Google is there for you. If you send me a list of schools you find and want to apply to, I can help categorize them for you based on level of difficulty of getting in. Best.
