Alright, that is pretty good to know. Hopefully they'll have a solution should the issue still be at hand.

Thanks for sharing, Trilobite! Glad to see people sharing and helping each other,

Yeah, hoping more applicants will follow suit, cause I believe the more pressure we apply, the higher probability of a positive outcome.

God help us.

for now proof (nigerian bank account statement) will suffice. its more than 2.5 now!! browse and convert using current exchange rates.

You'll however need to deposit when you get admitted next year.

Yeah its much. You're in the same boat with a lot of people. its either the CGP requirement is too high or no money. worst residency after study completion is no longer guaranteed. Reason why Norway is no longer attractive for a lot of immigrants.

I remember one school still looking for students to fill one of their courses around this past July. That's asking people to apply!! it was funny. With the nationalist mentality sweeping Europe I expect Norway to come up with more stringent anti immigrant moves.

God help us.

What did you study in your undergraduate?

Please, I am about applying for one of the conferences in Norway that would hold before the end of this year.

I don't know if Norway visas are easily available. I want to know my chances of getting the visa.

U definitely have to stay in one of the student homes; very cold n boring town; few nigerians; I think the richest nigerian man in norway lives there; he is an ibo medical doctor(odinaka); there is hardly any job for u if u don't know norsk except aftenposten jobs; unlike oslo, stavanger n trondheim where there are loads of jobs. Get ready to suffer from depression as a result of loneliness; I graduated from there in 2011. ÐεƔ have got cute girls anyway, but the cold there na die. Gets to -20 degrees during winter.Just study for one year, and go and make d big bucks in oslo during your second year, u can always fly down to bodo for important lectures, quiz n exams. Goodluck.

Well done sir, please did you apply for the student home before you residence permit and Visa approved, I am applying to the nord also, but my Uncle lives in Oslo, I want to know if I can use his house until I get into Norway. Anyone that knows about this should reply me please.

This your questions is not coherent, I'll try my best:

Most schools I know require you to indicate to them if you'll not require the accomodation they'll offer you one you've been admitted.
the residence permit comes first before the accomodation, to the best of my knowledge.

the part about your uncle is lost to me.

Thank you, it's my first time applying to a Norway school (undergrad), from what I saw on the University of Nord's website you have to sort out your accomodation yourself they only link to their student housing website outside that nothing but they also noted that, you will have to proof you have somewhere to stay while applying for Visa if granted admission. Hence the part about my uncle, my question was, if I can use his residence as a proof? considering the fact that he lives in Oslo and Nord university is in Bodo.

Undergrad?!! nice one. while I am baffled as to how you intend getting over the Norwegian language requirement, I feel you need to send an e-mail to your school.

Your punctuation skills are very poor, hence the incoherence and difficulty in understanding you. You need to spend some days to take care of it.
From what I understand, apply for the admission first and get it. You only need proof of accommodation when applying for a visa.
Every university has a student housing and they normally give all students who apply before the deadline.
How can you use an address in far away Oslo as proof of accommodation for a school in Nord? The school will give you one which you will use during your visa application.

Hello Guys,

My University emailed my transcript to NTNU (admissions@sa.ntnu.no) a few weeks back before Søknadsweb had opened, but i noticed it has not been uploaded on the application portal.
I did this because on the website they advised sending documents through that email if the application portal is closed.

I have emailed them but no response

Please any advise on how this can be uploaded on the application portal. Thank you
