Looking back at the life I lived, I can only thank God for being alive. Before the incident, I never and still don't believe in juju as in it can't harm me.

There was this friend of mine whose dad was a commissioner before he died. This guy got used to money to the extent that his mum gave him 2.5m for school fees and other expenses while he was in St Caritas university. But we used that money and ran to exile some where in jos, squandered the whole money on girls and booze. Since then, the mum stopped giving him money.

So one day, he stole the mum's gold earrings and necklace to go and sell, but unfortunately the items fell out from the text book he hid them, right in the front of the mum just as he was going out. So the mum padlocked her room but the determined boy still broke in and stole it while she was at work.

That day, we went and sold everything to the amount of 200k (we later learnt that the original price was more than double of what we sold it) we went back home and prepared for another exile again. That was how we disappeared with the money and spent it on what we know how to do best - girls, drugs and booze. We really enjoyed ourselves not knowing what was waiting for us back home.

...contd

Like the prodigal son, after spending everything, there was no where to go except to go back home. On getting to his house, we saw a hilux truck and two police men standing outside with his mum talking to a man wearing smartly dressed in a suit. Immediately, my guy recognised the man cos he was a family friend. In fact he is the one shagging the mum after her husband's death. And so we knew there was trouble since the man does not come to the house on a normal day with armed police men. But none of them saw us so we decided to run away. But unfortunately, their house girl who had gone out to buy something met us on the way.

We called her aside and warned her sternly to not say she saw us. So we went to search for a solution to our problem and that was how the guy said he wished he knew a babalawo that could end the issue. And that reminded me of an Ebira man I once heard about to be a baba. And so we went to search for him

It wasn't easy locating the place but we finally found it. The house was on top of a very big mountain, the only house on that spot.

When got closer, we noticed the house was painted in black colour. That was strange cos I've never seen a house painted in black since I was born. Another thing we noticed were charms hung on the wall of the house and I swear you can hear a sound of taking drum coming from a calabash hung on the wall.
We began to get scared though I wasn't showing it but my guy was visibly shaking! The house is just a single room with no windows so we went and knocked on the zinc door but there was no response. We kept on knocking till we got tired and I decided to look inside. You won't believe what was inside.

Lo and behold, it was an empty room nothing inside except a small flat screen TV on the wall! We were surprised.! A babalawo house with a TV?? and disappointed at the same time but as we were about to close the door and leave, we heard a voice from inside the room telling us to wait outside. I swear my heart almost came out through my mouth.

We located a bench and sat down and after about 5minutes someone opened the door and out came this young guy of not more than 25years.

Guy: who are you looking for?

Me: we are looking for baba.... (I don't want to mention the name for obvious reasons)

Guy: he is not around

Me: when will he be back?

Guy: he is never going to come back again

My friend: why?

Guy: because he is dead. So what do you want from him? Any Tell me the pure truth

Me: we stole something and sold it and now their is problem so we want the case closed.

The guy turned and looked at my friend and..

Guy: why did you steal your mum's gold and sold it despite the fact that she caught you the first time?

Oboyyeh, who told this guy the gist? Na so we begin to smile like mumu

Guy: where is the money you sold the gold for?

My friend: we have spent it

Guy: remaining #6,555

Na so we brought out the whole money in both our pockets and counted it. Oboyyeh, it was #6,550

Na so we begin dey smile again like mumu

Guy: I'm going to help you but you must promise not to do such thing again. Oya, follow me...

So he took us behind the house and there were saw a small tent and a very long and a thin tree beside it. Me being the tallest among them was asked to pluck three leaves and three seeds from the tree. As he was about to enter inside the tent, he paused and turned to face us...

Guy: where is your dry gin and alligator pepper?

Me: (looking confused) what?

Guy: I say, where is your dry gin and alligator pepper?

My friend: we don't have any. We didn't know we were going to need that.

Suddenly, the guy got angry and stated shouting at us

Guy: so you mean you came here empty handed with only your preeks inside your trousers? And una make me cut these leaves and seeds. Do you know what it took my dad to plant this tree?

We: abeg no vex sir, we will rush and buy it

Guy: I can't sit here and wait for you to go down from this mountain, I will be late for work because I'm on night shift in the bank I work as a security.

Guy: these leaves and seeds can't just waste like the that because my dad had to bury my sister alive under this tree before the tree germinated.
The only option left is for you guys to sacrifice una preeks or else una go run mental or we bury you here because no one ever comes to this place and go back without solutions

Oboyyeh, na so we prostrate for ground and started begging. So is this how our life is going to end? Chai! How can I be able to exist without my precious dick??

We started crying and shedding tears, pleading with the guy but all he said is...

Guy: you people are wasting my time I told you I'm going to work. So choose quickly between una brain, preeks or life?
Oya, choose fast, fast order I will choose for you

Chai!!!! I don die today. Thunder must fire this my friend for dragging me in to this shiii
