Mehn the way folks over think this thing can and drive them into HBP.
Why don't you press your bank for letter and forget SOAs. Or do Tbills and show SOA it came from. Why all this mathematics and stress?

You nailed it. IRCC only asked for a letter. That letter must contain some specific information. If this can be gotten from your bank, you are good at least till you get an ADR if they require clarifications. If this letter can not be obtained, then you can start talking SoA.
See what IRCC says below:

Abby2017:
Then it is simple, no FD, no Tbill.
It is a savings account, collect letter in whatever format your bank gives you and attach 6months SOA.
If there is any huge/unusual deposit that can raise eyebrow in your SOA, explain the source.
Don't give yourself analysis paralysis.

Lol @ analysis paralysis.

@ Saintp, please do what Abby has said. Don't cause damage to your brain cells trying to do mathematics please grin

Thank you Judgement for your response.

I need a quick clarification on the ECA and IELTS please.

The last time I did ECA with CES, they assessed my Masters Degree as Bachelors which was strange. A fellow student with the same degree from the same Swedish University got his assessed as Masters few years earlier.

Can I get a better assessment through another ECA? Please suggest.

On IELTS, a family friend of mine has done IELTS academic before, can she use the result for FSW?

Jugdement:

Your ECA is valid for 5 years while IELTS is valid for 2 years.

I will therefore assume that you will need a new English test.

I will suggest you start by taking the six factor test to determine your eligibility for FSW. Also use the crs tool to simulate your “possible” point.

You can then register for ielts and aim for a minimum of 8777 in LRWS.

Best of Luck.

You can process a new ECA report using IQAS or WES.

Academic ielts is not valid for FSW. It must be the general option.

Best Wishes.

I pressed for this letter from first bank and ecobank, they insisted they have a standard format . I wasn't in the mood for begging much so I took what I got

Did you threatened to close the accounts? Because Oga did with his bank and they produced the letter sharply. How can you deny your customers what they need, yet they give you their money to use for business.

Please I need to get my wife's transcript sent to WES from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU). The fee of 50K has been paid over a month now

and they said that they will get back to us. It is over a month now and we have not heard from them. I don't know if I can get the contact of any

person in OOU that could be of help. It is only the transcript from OOU that is delaying her ECA report.
What course? PM me for contact

Do you have an account officer? He/she could have helped out. The end result is what matters though. I wish you a speedy process.

From recent trends, most likely Wednesday November 8 is the next draw date.
Wishing you all the very best!

Na wa o. If the wait for ITA is killing this much, then you can imagine how much worse it is for PPR.

Thank you @judgement.

When I simulated my CRS with a perfect IELTS LSRW 8777 for myself and my wife, with two Bachelors already evaluated by CES I got a score of 434

When I simulated my CRS with a perfect IELTS LSRW 8777 for myself and my wife, with a Masters degree (Hoping WES will do the right thing) I got a score of 441.

In your opinion, is 434 good enough for EE draw? or I should try and get WES evaluation to have 441, hoping ofcourse that our IELTs will be like envisaged.

Lastly, what is the least CRS score that can guarantee a draw based on recent events?

Thank you.

Hello all. Please can someone recommend the fastest ECA organisation to use. I used Wes for mine but I'm looking at using a different one for my spouse because Wes is taking forever to evaluate mine. Thanks

434 should pass for now. The cutoff for the last draw for FSW was 433. See link to historical rounds of invitations:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/past-rounds.asp.

A quick question, was you academic qualification assessed as bachelors Degree or Two degree? cos the difference between your first and second simulation seem strange.

Finally, I guess it’s safe to get a new report, cos it may not be a good idea to be seeking employment with an expired ECA upon landing.

Best of Luck!
