Goodmorning all i woke up very sad this morning not happy at all. Please mamas that carried pregnancy with fibroid how did you cope? cry

the pain i felt all through last night i have never felt it before i was just crying, wailing and rolling on the bed. It started from church in the morning but last night was terrible i have never experienced it. With frequent urination every 2 to 5mins. I kept sipping on cold water i was confused.

My dh was just looking at me helpless to the extent that he said maybe we should terminate the pregnancy, do the fibroid operation and then conceive again... cry

i told him God forbid that i will manage the pain for 9Months angry

. Mamas what should i do as i am just starting i have not even entered 2 and 3rd trimester and the pain is this serious. undecided

The doctor recommended paracetamol for me 2 in the morning, 2 afternoon and 2 at night but i have not started it pls is paracetamol safe at this stage?

Pls dont read and pass i need urgent help as i am still in pains. Sorry for the long post and any typo im not myself cry

Sorry about that pains sis
It's called fibroid degeneration in preg and can cause abortion, preterm labor among other things....
The paracetamol is safe and will help a little
What worked for me and I have experienced it work for my patients with fibroid too is to DRINK A LOT OF WATER... STAY WELL HYDRATED
drink water like a fish, like life depend on it.
When you are well hydrated the pain is less minimal
And please rest well too

I hope this helps, sure other mamas will chook mouth too

sorry darling,I don't have any solution,but here's wishing you Gods touch. I heard fibroid normally shrinks as the baby grows,I feel you should just hold on. it is well with u In Jesus Name. And as u have been advised,please keep yourself well hydrated. God bless U

Sorry dear, I know how painful it can be cos am also going through same. Dr called it fibroid degeneration, mine came with brown spotting. I wasn't given any drugs, just told to bear the pains and come for regular scans to be sure the cervix is not opening. Also I was placed on bed rest and drinking lots of water helps too.

Mamas , i have a small issue .i have different edd ranging from 12th to 17th of December.Hospital is making use of that 17th which is 14 days from now. Biko i want my baby before then. I dont want to be induced so i have started dancing walking and climbing stairs but no show o only frequent braxton hicks . Pls what else can i do?

Baby will come when baby is ready to come.
For now, keep on exercising.

They chose that further date in order not to make you too anxious incase you go past the 12th.
