Have been involved in the founding of three major political parties in three Republics and played a key role in the creation of Ekiti state.

Deeply involved in community service and charity organizations set up to cater for the needs of the poor and the disadvantaged.

Patron of eighteen different youth and student organizations – across the geo-political zones of Nigeria.

As a loyal party man and seasoned politician, contribution to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) include being a Founding Member of the party; the South-west Convener; the Facilitator for Ekiti State; Chairman, Presidential Inauguration Committee (1999); Member of various Electoral Panels and Reconciliation committees (1999-2001); Member of the Presidential Champaign Council (2010-2011); Member of the Resource persons’ Committee; Chairman, Electoral Panel for the 2011 National Convention of the Party; Deputy Director-General of the Presidential (Jonathan/Sambo) Campaign Organization (2015); Chairman, Screening Committee of the Edo State PDP 2016 Gubernational Primary; and Chairman of Syndicate Seven of the Strategy Review Committee (January-March. 2017).

I didn't support Secondus initially.

I was speaking with a PDP Chieftain in Tata Camp in Katsina yesterday, he was the one that sold that idea to me. Tata is the strongest PDP Gubernatorial ticket contender in Katsina.

I don't understand why they want Secondus as Chairman, and with Wike alleged to be funding him, integrity issue might arise if Secondus wins.

Jimi has always been my favorite but I am loving Prof now, but will the powers that be allow him?

The truth is for strategy sake, SW should win the Chairman. Not that we are expecting them to vote PDP, but rather to give all Nigerians representation and for fairness.
