The question is, where is the house of God? Bible says our body is the temple of God. That we know. So how do we spend out money for God. Read Matthew 25:34-40. See what God says about doing something for God. Spend your money on the poor and needy. Their body is God’s temple too. Feed the millions in Nigeria who cant feed themselves or pay hospital bills. Or buy vital medications. Yes. Feed them, pay their bills, help them out.
In the old days, people gave money to church, and church used the money to build schools and hospitals, offered scholarships, etc. for the people. Today churches build universities that only children of the rich can attend. That one na church? That looks like fraud. They buy planes, for what?
Don’t even get me started.

They have been killing Christians in the north, even redeem pastors have been killed in broad daylight. These pastors kept quiet. Suddenly they all found their voice when tithing is challenged. And worse still, they are not challenging the issues scripturally, they are busy disparaging the young man. That makes me suspicious, if i weren’t already.

Everything can be trace to our upside economy and country... If things are really going well in this country most things will automatically disappear in our society.. In this part of the world people are mentally frustrated, lack hope, help etc. So people are willing to do anything to survive.

Aunty, don't just argue anyhow, be diligent enough to go and study all the scriptures given by those mentioning you, not just read o, but study, It is called comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Unless you don't want to know more about spiritual things, then forget it. That God uses our pastors for some miracles and wonder works does not mean they know all or follow the new covenant. It is hard to receive the truth when it is opened, but trust me, you will be happy and free, and be confident to answer spiritual questions and the reason to mysteries. Humbleness before what is right is a delight to God. You may have been learning a false tin for 20 yrs. That it is false does not make you less a child of God, but when you refuse the truth, you reduce your spiritual knowledge. This is not to say that your pastors are still not your pastors, but you will know what to obey and what to disobey, because God's word in perfect dissection is ultimate.

Bible clearly states that We should pay tithe to orphans, widows, fatherless, Levites, motherless, Foreigners who have no land and poor people generally.

Deuteronomy 26 vs 12 and Deuteronomy 14 vs 28

Then secondly, The book of Malachi means "The prophets". The whole book of Malachi is an instruction or warning to prophets n priests. Malachi 3 vs 8 - 10 is strictly for the levites who pay less than 10% of their tithe.



Please read ur Bible, Don't allow pastor or priest to deceive u.

Was the Law already fulfilled when Jesus was reprimanding the Pharisees in Matthew 23:23?

Hope you know that Jesus still instructed Lepers to visit the Priests for cleansing in line with the Mosaic Laws even after He healed them.

If you are going by Matthew 23v23, I hope you're doing animal sacrifice as well.

Take away the tithes and offerings (a.k.a. Holy Insurance premiums)... then we'll know who is serving God and who is serving mammon.

in the old testament Jews paid tithe to their priest (levites) because the levites did not work and had no possessions in Israel. so if U say we Christians today are to pay tithe then it means we should pay to pastors so how can U say pastors will pay to church rather it's gonna be pastors paying tithes to their selves olodo.
