oooh just shut up already. do you think we would have voted buhari if good luck was good enough, boy a bad manager even if you give him one billion year will change nothing but make things even completed. A man with Over 200 cows and have no single milk or beaf factory yet lies a huge opportunity in this while we import these items yet he call himself poor. it not news you paid bastard, for your lord buhari rule Nigeria before now tell me now what did he improve,. didn't you hear he don't know how to make money, true only a man who can not covert opportunity to productivity, that man will never make money. stop this nonsense deciet of yours. for until we get those with the mastery of the 21st century economy we can never move forward. stop that nonsense of trying to draw emotions already. buhari is to uneducated to lead Nigeria. did he diversify the economy when he was busy wasting billions in searching oil in the North? we need a leader that can unite all tribes in Nigeria not nepotist. for that is the first mark to developing. unity. A country that want to develop do not need three promises it needs every good promises not three boy. I wish you can see the future of the the black race my brother you will cry to know that we are still going backward.

Lol, he doesn't literarily have to be the one to create a way of generating revenue, he only needs intellects to brainstorm and get things done, all he needs is to have the will to accept whatever they decided on provided hes convinced on their findings.

when someone talks like a mor0n, insult is all he deserves.. read your post again and tell me if there is any sense in it.

he is talking about magic wand to conquer insecurity when buhari has been completely lackadaisical to fulani killings, boko haram killings and all other form of killings going on in the country.

if there is fuel glut, would marketers hoard fuel to make extra illegal cash?

he talks about nepa when buhari has not even added a megawatt to the installed capacity we have already.

who asked him to have magic wand? mumu like you.

Lol...i know you'll have to justify your position, but like I said, when matters of intellectual discussion ends up in names calling, then I understand the caliber of the person am dealing with.

So u mean the state govt should use the entire monies coming to akwaibom to satisfy an insignificant number of civil servants who dnt contribute nada to the economy of the state...
Akwaibom has a population of 4million plus n a paltry civil service workforce of lessthan 50thousand workers who r mostly ineffective, redundant n useless contributing nothing to the state but r so greedy, they want everything for themselves without considering the other 4million citizens that r mostly unemployed but r still buying from d same market with these greedy thieves.

Most of you quoting me did not understand the point I am trying to make. What I am saying is simple . There is no excuse for failure. I am sure the next president of Nigeria will be using buhari's failure as excuse for his own failures and the cycle continues.

Since we Nigerians accept excuses for whatever ever reason, the country will not make progress. We complained of epileptic power supply in 1999, we are still complaining of it today and with the way we keep defending politicians and accepting excuses, I am sure we will be complaining of power supply in 2050.

Excuses will always come to play, it's only normal, what's not normal is when after giving excuses, they don't perform. And am not seeing any administration not performing, it only depends on the angle everyone is looking at it from.

Some truths here.
It starts with d man (or woman) in the mirror you are holding.

Are there saboteurs?

Are there self-serving pple in govt?

Has Nigeria bcm too big to be governed effectively by one person?

Do we need to try d 6 geo-political regional VPs & one Abuja-based Presidente?

I must say it's getting pretty worrisome the way young pple are venting out abt d current way things are going.

You don't compare failure with failure, nor defend d indefensible.

GEJ allegedly was clueless and had too many worms in d national cake.
PMB in a bid to allegedly deflect the no or slow results shld know that the blame game has a limit.

It's not abt all d noise and cussing going on here.

The question is....
...do u have ur Voter's Card ready for 2019?

Do u now see why u shld b part of the process to bring in a credible prezz in 2019?

Pls leave out those old men to remain as senior board or presidential advisers.

How old is Weah of Liberia?

jinneyb:

And am sorry my brother, you think there's a quick fix to all the issues been faced by a country as big as this country. Some people talk about fixes like as if it's just a unit of the family they are talking about. Need you be reminded that no matter how good your intentions are, even coupled with actions, there are always saboteurs who will never make it work because of what they stand to gain.

For every action taking to better lots and lifes, counter productive measures of unlike minds will never make it work and this baffles me as this people never take the populace at heart, they only think of themselves. A reason why we as Africans will continue to dwell in this position we've found ourselves.

A brief example, a stray dog was seen in my area by a lady which she started taking care of it. Because of her financial status and the kinda breed of dog it is, I knew she can't take care of the dog so I invited someone who keeps dogs something like a kernel service provider, only for people who because are older than her not to let the dog be adopted stating that the matter has been reported to the police only for us to later find out it wasn't. Now the dog still remains where it is with no hope for it to be taking proper care of. Now this didn't just happen, it was because this so-called elders wanted something in return.

We are and will continue to be the problem of ourselves, not any leader, but we the follower.
Re: Recession: 5 Facts Before President Buhari Took Over Power In 2015 by blustone(m): 12:03pm On Dec 31, 2017
When we as a pple stop defending or making excuses for FAILURE or INEFFICIENCY, that is when this country will begin to improve for better.

How do u think the poli-trick-shians will feel if 100 million Nigerian tell them:
"Guys, u have failed so far, u have less than 2 years to fix ur act, or....."

Brothers and Sisters, they will all sit up and WORK to produce results.

If govt activities were run d way private firms run things, with clear objectives, efficiency and commitment, my dear all economic woes will reverse and pple will b rushing at Naija embassies to come live in Naija.

Stop making excuses, bcx they will relax.
Make them accountable and take ownership

Where you born in that era or still a baby? That was the period one of greatest pauperisation of Nigeria took place. How do you compare Buhari who spent 20 months to IBB who spent 96 months. What are the things IBB achieved in his first 20 months that Buhari could not do?

With all the SAP and belt adjustment of that era, IBB ended up with 50 bedroom mansion, private jets, billions of dollars that he could invest in Glo, DISCO, universities. That's how to make money by stealing from the people that Buhari said he doesn't know how to do.

But foolish Nigerians will hail IBB for robbing them and abuse Buhari who did not have his own jet or 20 million cows just because he was head of state.
With this attitude we make otherwise honest public servant also join the stealing bandwagon at least to avoid been shamed by Nigerians for not knowing how to make money

PDP blamed a party registered just two years before election and had never run government before and many of the PDP paid posters latched on to the claim,
now they don't want to be blamed for policies and actions they took while running government.

2019 is fast approaching, yet APC has no solution to problems created by GEJ/PDP other than continued blames.
They've even compounded the problems with
1. payment of illegal subsidies
2. Unabated Fulani invasion of communities
3. Appointment of Ghosts
4. Lopsided appointment without consideration of Federal Character.
5. Increased hunger to the point of parents selling their children for survival without remorse.
6. Withdrawal $1b from ECA to fight Boko haram they claim to have been defeated since end of 2015.
7. Use of deodorant for corrupt APC members while using insecticide on opposition.
8. Patronage of foreign hospitals they criticized.
9. Increased unemployment as against employment generation they promised.
10. No visible infrastructure initiated, executed and delivered for almost 3 years in office
11. Flamboyant family life style with son using #56m worth of bike as a toy.
e.t.c.

There is no hope in APC, in just 18 months prices of goods n services rose to 100% - 500%. This has brought about unprecedented suffering, Hardships n hunger like we have never seen before.

APC n PDP are bad But on average PDP is a 4 light years away.

bross, siting a Refinary in KD is and was an ill thought sight .what is was made for was cracking and not fractional distilation.we do not produce enough to achieve cracking. But piping crude over a long distance carries its own risk and Im sure we have all seen it.building a third Refinary in lagos or Imo state would make more sense.

In the face of the recession Nigeria is currently coming out from, there have been several attacks on the current administration.

Here are 5 indisputable facts before the current government came into power. Recall that as at Dec 2014, oil price was still above $64/barrel.

1. 27 state governors were owing back log of salaries as at May 2015 when this government took over hence the bail out funds approved for governors. Despite this bail out funds, many refused to meet their obligations.

Buhari in ‘bailout’ meeting with governors- June 23; 2015

Why have Governors refused to pay salaries, allowances in spite of bailout funds? - Dec 30, 2015

2. Federal Government was borrowing to pay 2015 salaries.-May 6, 2015

Nigeria borrows to pay salaries with cash crunch worsening. (Vanguard)

3. Oil marketers were owed billions, led to a fuel scarcity that paralyzed Nigeria, even banks were closing before time, telecoms operators were sending texts about expected disruptions (never in Nigeria have this happened until 2015)

Nigeria fuel shortage cripples businesses, banks and flights - 25 May 2015

4. Okonjo-Iweala who many people in the opposition believe would have done better or saved the economy warned of tougher times as oil slipped low to about $76.

Brace for tougher times ahead, Okonjo-Iweala tells Nigerians -NOV 2014

5. Falling Foreign Reserves

Nigeria’s foreign reserves drop to $29.13 billion

With the above facts, every sane discerning mind will see that Nigeria was already in a mess before the change of power.

The question everyone should be asking now is where are the infrastructural developments that can justify all the money Nigeria made in the past 16 years of PDP's rule particularly in the last 7 years of PDP's rule when Nigeria made alot of money from crude oil sales?

FG shared ECA with governors 52 vs 48% split. Then governors came asking FG to bail them out from FG’s purse.FG is not allowed by law to withold monthly allocations from states.
Governors like Okorocha and Oshimole took monthly allocations, got ECA share and then came back to ask FG for a bailout..
This is not going to make sense to some folks like.
Deziani case is going thru the legal systems in US, UK and Naija and IT HAS nothing to do with ECA!! Everybody is not daft.. put some respect on some of us who can think for ourselves!!
