Hide my face? What for? I will not sir. Maybe you should hide yours. If you felt like my contribution was irrelevant to you, you had the choice to ignore my post and move on. Your kind of post is what makes a public forum like this one an avenue for an ignoramus like you believe you have something to say because of your economic circumstance. My post was civil and did not warrant your comment.
Nigerians are the most educated in the USA with 23% with a higher degree. That's way higher than the American population. If you want to continue in your ignorance and encourage it, that is your choice and you are free to exercise it. Things are tough in Nigeria, that we all know. It doesn't not equate ignorance or stupidity. Thank you.

Writing eloquently is an advantage, and not a requirement. There are successful people who cannot speak, or write English.

Fluency in English has never, and should never be used as a yardstick to measure intelligence.

You can choose to dumb down your family and associates. My parents taught me how to thrive on excellence not mediocrity. I do not think most people on this page are mediocre by any standard I actually believe otherwise. Anyway, to each his own.To suggest that speaking or writing proper English language is irrelevant on this page makes no sense. Many who have expressed their opinions here in pidgin English have done so without criticism.

You said. O mase o. I speak Yoruba fluently. O mase fun e ati awon omo e as long as you continue on your current train of thought.

Thank you.

Please, let's not derail this thread who's writing correct English or not. Like you earlier said, we all don't have he same educational qualification, the person you claim is dumbing down his English, might be writing his best at that very moment.
When it comes to language, local dialect will always have an influence, that's why we have British English, American English and even have Nigerian English, words like "traffic ate" will always remain in our vocabulary, even though it's wrong.
You also need to understand it's a Nigerian forum, Nigerians call struts shock absorber, they call serpentine belt fan belt. if I come here using all those terms, without at least putting the wrongly used term in bracket, then whom am I communicating to?
Live and let's live, take this crusade to literature section, I'll gladly join you

Good morning sir, I'm surprised at this your response, I didn't in anyway, throw any abusive words at you.
Well, what can I say? But

God bless you and your family.

it seems u are in the wrong market. Position well bro.guys, let us learn how to make gud use of boost on Uber. Yesterday, there was up to 1.8* boost. I drove a client from phase 1 to ojodu and it was 56oo after Uber deductions. I had my destination trip but I did not use it cos there was no boost around mainland. So I went back empty to the land of opportunity. Getting to VI where boost was 1.8x, I hit another one to lbs. abt 4000. Seems no boost there. I came back to Vi empty. Put my destination trip to Ikeja... Learn how to calculate this work with Uber. If I don't see any meaningful boost on Uber I do Taxify. Read the Uber boost table a nite before u set out to work so as to position well. Today is another great day on Uber and even Taxify. Learn how to sacrifice some fuel in other to position well cos time is attached to these promotion s.
