Your baby probably just wants solid food, it's not every child that inclines towards liquids after weaning. Try Beans, mashed with Titus fish and crayfish. You can introduce little eba with okra soup and titus and crayfish. Also try Unripe banana porridge- grate banana, add crayfish and Titus fish with small pumpkin.

When he is hungry don't breast feed him. Let the baby cry, fall asleep and wake up very hungry. She'll eat the cereal.

Reason I advice people to wean early cos by the time the child is able to discern the taste of breastmilk from cereal it sometimes becomes difficult to wean the child. Am afraid you might just have to keep breastfeeding him till a year or two also try giving him tea.

if he likes what you are eating then make that his food, mash or blend it to make it like baby food. My ten month old would gladly eat home made food without sugar but hates store bought cereal or any sweetened food. As a doctor in children care, I will advice you to keep trying to introduce your baby to new foods. Remember, a baby needs to be introduced to a new food at least 15 times before he or she adapts to it.

Keep breastfeeding him but not exclusively. The teaching is that a baby should be breastfed till 2 years of life, however breastmilk shouldn't be the main meal as the caloric content is no longer enough for your baby.

Never ever try to force-feeding your child pls. We have lost lots of babies that way. I understand how frustrating this is but you aren't alone in the struggle.

At 9 months, your baby can indeed eat all foods but not all are appropriate complementary feeds. In our society, corn based meals eg pap fortified with milk, soy, sugar, crayfish, palm oil, ground or cerelac, nutrients etc remains the best food for our babies.

During meal times be extremely patient and dedicate at least a couple of hours to ensure your child feeds the right way.

Multivitamins eg abidec is also appropriate as long as it is given in the right dosages to avoid overdose a disease its side effects.

Ignore the trolls on your thread aka silly things desperately seeking for relevance. Their antics precedes them shamelessly.

You should have started the solid food training at six months, now he's more aware that's why he refuses to accept any other thing than breast milk.
My baby nephew started taking solids by 5/6 months, by 9months he could stand then by 10months he was walking/running already (he eats a lot and all kinds of food too)... now, he's a year and 2months, strongest baby boy ever!

He may be trying to loose weight to enable him walk.
same thing happened to by little boy when he was 9 month,
but make sure he eats by all cost, he will throw the food but still make sure some thing enters his stomach
for sustenance.

He is absolutely good, just trying to walk.
make sure you have enough food when he started walking proper,
and get ready, cos those are they time they turn the house upside down.
