Awesome video about 1987 Market crash.
But this current NSE southern journey, can not yet be seeing as market crash, but market maneuvering. You can also call it market balancing, tracing back, Or we use the word market correction. The overdose air, that market manipulators pump, is what that is reducing. When it reduces below their previous price, then you will know that really crash is taking place.

For now, those that are perceiving it as crash, were those who jumped in when the too much pumping was going on.

Any performing stock don't need pumping. Stocks like access bank, that don't welcome the pumping, will soon enjoy their natural northern journey.

From what I've read, Benjamin Graham suggests that you treat your stock portfolio as an investment in a business. Meaning that you never sell your holdings unless the company is no longer profit making. So, with the T-bills bonds option, he's just saying that when stocks have P/E ratios that easily reach into the 50s and 60s, you don't buy new stocks, you buy new bonds, since they would be cheaper.

Be careful. You will make mistake if you try to do what is there. Read the literature, the calculations and then domesticate it to our market.

I don't think we have had such high PEs in NSE. So be mindful of what you take out there. Applicability may not be same but try and understand the content and context of applications.

In the same book, he said investing in frontier markets carry very high risk. We are in a frontier market.

This is NSE oo and not NYSE. You need to adapt what is written in that book to our own local NSE market. Our market is always whipsawed and susceptible to many changes like oil price, political tension, CBN and other local policies among others. Our market moves one step forward and 5 steps backward most times. Have an investment strategy and stick to it. From my own personal experience, i dont do long term in NSE mainly due to our currency fluctuations. I remembered in 2014, i was changing money at 157/$ to buy NSE stocks and to repatriate funds now, u will need to change at 363/$ ($100k in 2014 is now less than $50k now). So someone needs to be very active in this market and know when to be in cash and when to be in the market else, it will be a rigmarole case.

MSCI MOVEMENT FOR 21 FEBRUARY 2018/MARKET COMMENT

The fund sold some flour Mills, FBNH and Ecobank mainly. Some cash was immediately moved out of the portfolio.

Market likely to be quiet for some time, probably till early April 2018. The only issue that can jolt the market will be a surprise good performance by one of the highly capitalised stocks.

CAUTION: This information is for educational purpose only. The data are assumed to be correct, but you can verify the data if in doubt.

Why add salt to injury?
We should only be hearing of buy and not sell.

Question: Will they continue selling? Which stock is next?

Far from a crash boss, i just watched the video and thought of sharing. The video showcases the herd mentality effect and how people were wiped off and how Tudor jones profited massively from it. Thanks sir for your analysis though, well appreciated.

The movement of cash in and out is now deceptive.last week you reported massive inflow of cash.what followed next was a massive sell-off.

Flourmills traded about 6.4m units yesterday on NSE but these guys are reporting that they sold over 9m units.

I don't trust this MCSI guys and their information. I don't bank my decision based on them, so I have no worry. Just pointing out discrepancies.
