If payment was made via internet banking (online). Follow this steps:

1. Log into your internet banking account
2. Click on book hotel and and travel for a drop down of list of items
3. Click on US visa fee to make your payment if you have not. If you have made your payment, you will see your transaction history. Click on the "view receipt" on the far left corner of the transaction receipt. A document containing the payment details will open and there you have a transaction reference number. That is your receipt number.

Sorry about that, had the same issue. Please if you are not using the same DS-160 profile, ensure you delete the old one and print it colored if possible. I have been turn back twice, one pic, 2nd time was the old Application Id was sticking out. am yet to reapply.

I was turned back. I didnt upload my passport on DS160. I cudnt actually but i was told that i could bring a hardcopy to d venue on the site. So misleading. Now i have to reschedule. So sad

I applied in January and my appointment date was Feb 14 ( Val's Day ) come see people as dem wear red clothes and touch of red .. i laugh no be small as red was just flashing all through the streets of the embassy.. back to the matter .

Being my first time i am applying since having my passport, i taught to apply for visit so i can meet up with some of my friends and at least have a visa on my passport.

Pls how do one delete old ds-160 form? Especially when one does not have access to it again like my family that we stopped using an agent and filling it ourselves. Thanks

When they ask u why re u traveling to and so on , tell the VO, don't wait for the VO to bring to you notice of your last denial. INFORM THE VO yourself of how you missed an opportunity to visit your long time friend in so and so time when you applied and now since you are going for a conference which is not in the same city u ain't gonna be able to see him again, as ur job don't afford u time to travel and move around and this is a rare opportunity to honor staffs who had worked for 5 years and above
No forget to tell her about your fiance whom you guys just had your traditional wedding march put the date and u would be inviting the VO for the white wedding hope he or she would attend by August 26th lol. No forget to take cannibis before you face any VO it worked for me, e go work for u self, be bold na the weed go make u bold and jovial at the same time, thumb up to weed lol

Lets look at this:
1. Visiting with wife and two sons = Family travel history + Sponsors Finances
2. Purpose of trip - Wedding anniversary = Cool, but why take the kids? + Sponsors finances
3. Length at place of work = hmm...3 years (if you had previous experience at another place of work, you should have mentioned it here e.g I work at X for 3 years but previously I worked at Y for 6 years...total work experience = 9)
4. Marriage length, 8 years = Hmmm, married for 8 years but hasn't travelled out with the family, suddenly wants to go to the US for anniversary + Sponsors finances.
5. I personally think its your finances, this would have been offset if you travelled out of the country as a family (if you have travelled out as a family, then its most likely finances).
6. REAPPLY WITH YOUR WIFE ONLY. LEAVE THE KIDS BEHIND. MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THEIR CARE. ALTERNATIVELY, HAVE A GREAT ANNIVERSARY IN A COUNTRY THAT'S STRESS-FREE. ALL THE BEST.

Good evening house, I will like to say a big thank you to everyone here, I read a lot and learned while I prepared for my interview. I did my interview on the 16th of march and picked up my passport today. My interview time was 8am but arrived 5:40am.counter21, white lady was the VO, she was first attending to emergency cases, nursing and pregnant women and families. Where I queued I could hear responses and see blue paper flying out of that counter and I prayed, I shouldn't be pushed to the counter, immediately I was stationed to another counter, a security guard from nowhere called 4 of us and told us to follow him and we landed at counter 21. I started praying (my case is different)the lady before me was denied , fast forward to my turn.

Please I was supposed to attend a training that is holding in April 18th, and I have paid for the training and the visa fee. But my challenge now is that, after filling and submitting my DS 160, I realized the earliest appointment date available is April 30th. So I have decided to attend the next training holding in August.

So my question is can I fill a fresh DS 160 form since I have not booked any appointment with the old one or would I need to edit the submitted one and if yes, pls how do I go about editing a submitted DS 160?

Posting the same stuff over and over is called spamming and it's very annoying for the thread users, well to people like me sha.

You were refused in February and kpam! March your office nominates you for stuff in the US. Though this isn't what you want to hear, let me drop some hard truths
1. The fact that your purpose of travel changed is immaterial because/ and
2. If nothing has changed in your circumstances Since your last refusal, why would you be given the visa ?
3. Your office thing , if it's real is not a do or die affair. There are other people that can go for the thing , if the embassy decide they have sufficient ties.

Conclusion : the "repackaging" dosent make any sense, respectfully. There are soooooo many other countries you can visit if you want to go on a vacation. I'm not saying you can't go to the US, rather I'm advising you not to further enrich the Americans. When your ties are better or changed, then reapply.
For any other advice, read the transcripts... They speak for themselves

I always advocate for seekers to read a couple of transcripts. Only then would answers make sense.
Usually, the vos don't ask for documents. There have been exceptions however. The only thing I can say is give them a copy of any document that supports any assertion you make.
That may include the wedding cards, your international passport and details of your spouse.
Note however, the documents they need is not as important as the issue of how you got to the US ab initio.
If you went for a visit then decided to get married, I would advise you not to tar your family 's record by inviting them cos they too will have a tall assumption of immigrant intent to over come
Finally it's more about their ties than about you. Though the above point still counts
