Retired primary school teachers are being owed 9months,since July 2017 they being owed.
Retired secondary school teachers/retired non teaching staffs are owed 5months.

Civil servants in active service are currently being owed 5months,

Come to Abia state and see retirees and civil servants going through hell.

That man is wicked. My Grandma hasn't received pension since last yr.

The governor should try to pay workers with immediate effect .

And the thief will collect his salaries, allocations in full but, will never want to pay people who put their lives on line for 35years serving their fatherland.

nairaland has gone to the dogs. how can the mods move unverified news like this to front page? I can't actually talk for pensioners but my father is an active worker in the state ministry of education and he receives his salary when due. there is no case of owing for now.

Abians voted for Alex oti and me inclusive. infact, Alex won in 11 LGA out of the 17LGAS in abia state. so I don't like ikpeazu for any reason because we thought that he will be a continuation of t a orji but in terms of salary payment and building of roads, ikpeazu has really tried compared to t a orji. the only problem people are having with him is his clannish attitude of filling the state civil service with his ngwa brethren

just like I said earlier, I can't vouch for pensions and gratuity cuz I don't have retired people in the service but I can only speak about active workers
