Congrats Ronvlaar,

Good decision you took and it made off. Happy for you. I actually thought of re-applying too for my kids with priority but fortunately we got an expedite hearing cos they are minors for 1st week of next month.

The best thing actually is to address their refusal and re apply if the money is available to have rest of mind cos this appeal of a thing takes time. the waiting is terrible.

I ll be going there with God and ready for them with all documents and plenty of tears. lol

Safe trip

Those home office guys abd the UK government generally are crazy. Someone who is helping your economy yet you are denying (or delaying his application as the case may be) because of politics or whatever their reason is. They are mad honestly

Congratulations mate. Yours has just confirmed the fact that being denied once using a standard application doesn’t mean you can’t use priority service when you reapply.

Exactly.
Thank u

I received my visa today. God is wonderful. I have two questions.

1)Regarding TB certificate my wife has the original, is it ok to take a copy with me when traveling. Has anyone been asked to show their original certificate

2) which airline has people been using as the direct flight are expensive at the moment

Just get her to send you a scanned copy via WhatsApp (although by the time you present yourself at the POE, all your submitted documents are in e format in front of the officer).......

Try KLM or Lufthansa, if you reside within close proximity of London City Airport........ If not, just buy Virgin or BA (once you start work, your ticket fare would be a doddle)....

NB: Remember to pay your tithe in £ or bitcoins acceptable (65%)

Yea, great airline, good onboard entertainment and short travel time (depending on your booking), plus I always love the chicken and biscuits from Popeyes' at the airport. You should try it at the food lounge, thank me later

1. No harm carrying copies of your document but I wasn't asked about any docs at the Airport doesn't mean you won't be asked though.

2. For cheaper airlines, you might want to try Turkish airline or Air Maroc. Usually cheaper and with short timeline sometimes similar to Air France/KLM (not as short as virgin or BA)

Hello House,
I was refused yesterday and I very sad about it.

The ECO who handled my case wasn’t nice at all.

My husband started a new job in September last year and has been in working before then. So we submitted 6months payslip that is 5months from his recent job and 1 month from his previous job wc ended in August last year. I was refused based on the fact that my husband hasn’t worked with his recent employer for 6months. My point is my husband still works and I believe if they needed his 6th month payslip the ECO should have sent an email. Plus my husband submitted a letter from his employer and also 6 months bank statement. Right now i am torn apart. I dunno if appealing is the way forward or I should just reapply. Please i need an urgent response.

Thanks

Try to read the rules next time. You are supposed to submit 12months pay slips if you haven't been with an employer for up to six months. The refusal is very fair because the rules are not New and were clearly stated.
Good luck with your next application.

Did anyone hear about the federal high court judgement in Lagos this past week stating that weddings conducted at the Ikoyi federal marriage registry are invalid? Anyone?

And what or how does this judgement affect spouse visa applicants who had their weddings at this court/registry. Let’s discuss this fellas and ladies in the house.

What type of visa are you applying for? If its visiting visa, and you would be due before your visa expires. Ensure you have made arrangements for payments of all child bearing cost assuming visa is issued before you get to LHR/LGW/LCY.........

When did we start paying for child bearing with spouse visa. I didn't pay a dime. My baby is not even up to two years old now

If you read my response properly, you would realise I inquired about type of visa application. And I clearly stated if it was visiting visa, ensure all bill payments are in tow.......

How many weeks pregnant before visa was issued? And was your pregnancy bump well pronounced before you boarded the plane and arrived at POE?
