True. But I doubt if that would stop the useless British pundits from blaming him for everything wrong with Arsenal.

Haha!! egbon forgiveness, actually, that would be difficult since I actually don't promote any player, per se. I mean, I have defended players like Tyronne Ebuehi against unfair criticism but I don't see that as promoting him a la the way you do with Kayode grin

Having said that, I am Igbo but that hasn't stopped me from being the biggest critics of players like Elderson Echiejile, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, and even John Ogu ... to mention but a few. When it comes to naija footie, I am the MOST detribalized Nigeria believe me.

How Super Eagles Lined Up In Training Session – Crotone Simy Scores Spectacular Goal
May 24, 2018013

They should have selected 'The Dream of One Team', then the whole group would be dream based or shall we say "The Dream Group".

Rohr Takes A Leaf Out Of World Cup-Winning Manager's Book: Eagles Wear GPS Trackers

European football tactician Gernot Rohr has taken a leaf out of Joachim Low's book, with the national team players wearing GPS trackers before the start of the training session. (see photo)

That small device was instrumental to the success of Germany winning the 2014 World Cup, Low decided to introduce Mario Gotze, who netted the winning goal, as a substitute over other options based on GPS data.

The GPS data will measure how the Super Eagles players perform in training games, the number of changes in direction, cardiac frequency variable that is monitoring of their heartbeats.

Rohr will be able to compare the players in camp and the information will assist him to know a player's level while with the national team.

As at the time this report, the players were taking part in a shooting practice before the start of the practice game.

this is a welcome development , harness of technology in sport in africa is the way to go , i think this time we re better prepared and , this device has a lot to reveal about our players , no where to hide for the lazy ones and at the same time he can as well caution the workaholic at training .... how well can they interpret the data and use it to our advantage during match proper ?.... we re gradually getting there . grin grin grin

you are the one that misleading everyone here you wrote that you are not sure if he will make it in the epl based on the team he plays for and league he operates in and i said if fuchs could come straight into the ''minefield'' you call epl and win a champions medal then you are being overly presumptuous to say balogun can't cut it

whether he was top 10 or not the fact of the matter is he was a first member of a team that won the epl FACT!

he plays for austria ehen so what? what have they achieved in world football?

man players from the supposed one man league bundesliga have come to epl and done well.

epl is a top league but easy on the hype

komekn:

Your clutching at straws to make a point, was he among the top 10 performing players in Leicester did he ever win one MOTM award. Was he a stand out player in the EPL.

He is one of the most capped players for Austria and a stand out player in the Bundesliga with near 200 games over 7 years. And you called him Rubbish.

You are being mischievously misleading.

You are clearly misrepresenting the facts.

Kelechi does not train with Ozil, Sanchez and Ramsey.

He is playing in the Eerste Divisie 2nd tier of Dutch football. It is low and what's more concerning is he is not the stand out player in that low league.

He is currently just an Arsenal player on paper, a mere speculative business transaction that may possibly. yield some dividend.

Unfortunately there is a continous trend for reasons unknown to give former Nigerian youth players irrespective of current progression opportunities in the SE to the detriment of far better performing players.

on being fool proof please tell me which system of football is fool proof and why is everyone not adopting that fool proof football

No question. VicMo is definitely a high maintenance player. But he better gets his acts together because he needs this world cup more than most of the players in the team. Apparently, Antonio Conte isn't gonna be at Chelsea next season, so what becomes of his status ... especially if the new coach decides to abandon the 3-4-3 formation? Is he going to become surplus to requirement??

That's why he'd need to have a massive world cup so he can always leave Chelsea if his situation becomes murky.

Well said! VicMo has played too many games this season. He needs the break. The same reason why Ndidi's injury was a blessing in disguise. Gives him time to recuperate and remain fresh for the World Cup. Even Leo Messi decided to skip the few series of games for Barca despite the fact that he was battling for the Euro golden booths.

4 league goals is still not impressive egbon that's the honest truth. even for simy 7 goals is not good enough but in his case he has been rewarded for consistent good form over the past few weeks. unfortunately no striker of nigerian origin has hit double digits so we have to settle for what is available.

i confused ogbeche's 2001/2002 stat for the 2002/2003 season so i was wrong when i said he scored 1 league goal prior to the world cup.

like i told you earlier i had no qualms with onigbinde taking bartholomew to the world cup as a promising talent but on the fact of his numbers sorry not good enough

forgiveness:

Ogbeche stats prior to the world Cup. How did Simy performed better than Ogbeche?
