Fayose would've done this since even more, but, the power that be; I mean fed-led Buhari has been fighting him. if una like make una vote in hearsmen agent Fayemi, all of una go enter hot soup. God forbid O!!!!!

God will help you.
I not a Fan of Fayemi or Fayose but you just made a ridiculous excuse for Fayose .
Fayose would have done what exactly ? Which power that be ?
It’s like saying Buhari used some sort of power to compel Fayose to speak against him insult him tell him the truth at times or spread unverified truths and lies at times also.
One this is sure thou EKITI monthly allocation was at not point in time Delayed or not payed.
Buhari and the powers that Be has no play in how Ekitk recruits or executes their monthly/yearly budget .
Fayose has been fighting a Man who has over time ignored him... if you want to know what Powers that be means check out OBJ as President vs Tinubu as Governor .
Thank you

You already have some you owing and now want to employ 2000 more? Whats the plan to ensure they get paid during their time of service ?

Like he said before it's better to be employed and owed than been unemployed

The reality is these 2000 would just be political employment for vote and when the elections doesnt favour the employment party they all get laid off on basis of sketchy employment program, unable to sustain them in the system, etc and back to the endless list of unemployment. The worst thing that can happen to a man is taking away his new employment with no alter native, end up breaking them and making them vulnerable to all kind of unjust act all for just personal gain.

Its about time Nigerians wake up and not let their future be traded for peanuts crumbs.

Just to create problems for the incoming administration, you can't pay the ones on ground, yet you want to add 2000 more, i don't see the sense in this move. After all he will not be paying their salaries as newly employed workers usually wait at least 3 months before they collect the first salary -at least that is what obtained when i was employed in their service in 2008 before i left for other opportunities.

Fayose promised to pay up salaries of Ekiti workers before leaving office so I don't understand these fuss about him still owing workers when he had already schooled as many as possible why that was the case in Ekiti going by the huge debts he inherited from Mr Acada, Fayemi. I love this smart move from Fayose to employ the services of 2,000 youths to make sure election counts because Fayemi and his gangs are not coming for election in Ekiti but are only on a mission to rig! Thank you Fayose for being ahead of your detractors in the scheme of things.

He promised to pay before leaving office... grin grin grin

These guys won't kill someone...u haven't paid for 6 months...u will use billions of naira to execute the elections, then what?

What if his party loses? Where will he get d money to offset their salaries? Who will borrow an outgoing govt money?

Recruitment weeks before elections are two-edged swords- to cajole and to set booby traps...chikena
