This response of yours is not accurate. The person said he did upfront medical. It is only when you get a medical request and your account is updated to medical passed after submitting your medical test that you can say an application is near approval but if it is an upfront medical an applicant submitted along with his/her application it is normal to get medical passed update which does not implies the application is near approval. It can actually go either way, it could be an approval or denial in the end depending on other factors to be considered by the VO.

Yes. Just patiently wait for your approval message in no time. You can start booking your flight in advance now. Congratulations in advance

It would be a good news in the end but this is the time to pray harder and keep hope alive. The truth is it can still go either way but I wish for you an approval. It is only on medical request that a medical passed update means an approval update is very near.

I did upfront medical during my application and it's been updated to medical passed . Does it mean Good news?

doing a medical upfront and getting an update of "passed" isn't a guarantee for SP approval but until after your background check meets eligibility before "approval"

but in the case of "no medical upfront," If you get this kind of message "medical passed" then you stand a chance of getting an approval

Don't book a flight just yet, book a fasting and praying appointment with God

Hello All,

Who can assist me to analyse my Gcsm note. i really have no idea of the VO concern in the first sentence. If TRV was issued to the family prior to my application, what c
ould be the issue?

Can you send me an email. would like to suggest a way to tackle this.

Blessed day to you friends. Please how do i message CIC concerning delayed application processing. When i applied the processing time read 6 weeks but it will be 9 weeks waiting time by tomorrow. I am thinking of sending them a message by next week. Please, has anyone done this before? Was there a reply and what was the aftermath?

Hope sending them a message will not give the impression that i am over-desperate or ambitious and result to hasty/ill-favoured decision. Please your candid advise will be highly appreciated.

Please ignore my previous advise of telling you start booking your flight now... However, nothing is impossible with God, you can still claim your approval and book your flight in the Spirit realm as u back it up with prayer for God's favour. Apologies once again and wish u success in advance.

They are undergoing some maintenance. I think that's part of the reason why there has been some delay with online app. I remembered a day before i submitted online, there had an upgrade done too. Let's just hope for the best.

I got a medical request - paper route, PhD MUN, no upfront medical. Once I do the medical, do I still need to notify CIC via email that this has been done If no, how long does this take for CIC to update my account after the medical? Otherwise, if I have to notify, what CIC email account can I use? Currently, background check and eligibility is under review.

From what I have seen so far, If you are given a slip/paper after the medicals, scan and send to their email. I did upfront but they still requested medicals from me, so i have sent over a dozen emails to them with the e medical slip I submitted during the application, still hoping for a response soon.

You are right @Joe10. I aslo applied Apr 13th only bio-metric show completed back ground check still running.

I'm damn fed up of this Canadian study permit, its now 16weeks now that I applied, there hasn't been any update on my timeline apart from biometric completed.
I applied online on 15th February and did my biometric the next day(16th February). I'm fed up, fed up. I should've opted for European study permit instead of this wasting time Canadian visa
